Family-friendly holiday rentals in Currituck County

Our family felt so welcome and comfortable in this exceptionally clean home with all the amenities we could possibly want, allowing us to relax and spend such sweet time together as well as venturing out to the many attractions in OBX. Happy to have perfect weather but it wouldnt have mattered, there is so much to appreciate ( perfect table for our jigsaw puzzle, sound system, Jacuzzi, grill) in this house . The host, Thomas, was so kind and immediately accessable for any questions or concerns. This vacation could not have been better, or more special.

Last minute trip planned. There were 12 of us and this house was a great size with plenty of space where we did not feel like we were on top of each other. 4 teenagers the area was perfect. They were able to go on their own and explore Corolla, walking and biking. We look forward to visiting Outer Banks again.

Melissa‘s house is beautiful with a wonderful view of the sound. The kids enjoyed the pool even though it was still a bit chilly in April. (Just remember to take your own pool/beach towels!) We explored historic Corolla, the lighthouse, the wonderful bookstore, the beach and several Minigolf places by bike since the location was great for that. If you like cooking you will find that the kitchen has everything you need. Melissa was very responsive and helpful and did everything to make our stay great!

This is our second time staying at the Beacon Villas. We love the location because it allows us to easily access the beach and all the amenities that Corolla Light Resort has to offer. The condo is the perfect size for our family - plenty of space and privacy when needed. It was very clean and looked exactly as described. When we return to Corolla, Beacon Villas will be first on our list of places to stay.

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

Family LOVED! this house! The house was set up well and very comfortable. If you are looking for the four seasons, this is not it. It is a truly welcoming and comfortable home in a lovely location. We kayaked and paddleboarded at sunset every night (our PB’s), did the beach during the day, cooked in the well equipped kitchen and spent family time in the game room at night. It was perfect! Host and property manager were SO helpful and responsive! Cons: Water BUT the host has a 5 gallon water dispenser. Bring at least one 5 gallon container a day. Ace hardware in Corolla have them right in Corolla. Careful washing whites at the house. The water discolored a pair of white linen pants. We were very pleased and will plan to rent this home next year! It was magical and a great vacation. Oh and many horse visits!

House was exactly as described and very clean! Short walk to beach with public access, great spot for sunrise!! Brad was very easy to communicate with even recommended lots of places close by for us to try. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! The dogs loved the location and driving on the beach was a lot of fun. 2 stallions walked through the dunes directly off the porch. The house was cozy and all we needed!

This house has everything and the location is just amazing. Walk everywhere. It's also thoughtfully laid out so many family members can have their own space as well as a huge common area. All the kitchen goodies are there. The owner is so thoughtful- he checks in and really wants you to have the best time possible. The house is full of the stories of his life- a life of travel and family and it's beautifully decorated. Every morning we just walked out the door a few hundred feet to the beautiful beach. The kids could go out to walk the dog in a lovely neighborhood and the amenities of the resort area are awesome. It's really a great spot to get away. Our family went during a very rainy period but we still managed to see dolphins, trek to the wild horses, find a great nature trail or two, and play a little basketball on the community courts. Everyone we ran into was really nice and I would bet it's because its just just a beautiful area. They're lucky. I would love to come back again.

Had a lovely weekend stay here as first timers in OBX. The airbnb was clean, had a fun and cozy vibe, and felt safe. Our french bulldog felt at home too! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations on which beaches allow dogs.

My family and I really loved the house. It had plenty of space for us, the kitchen was well equipped, and it was easy to get to and from the beach.

Eric’s place was just as described. Very roomy and the pool was larger than most! Short walk to the beach and short drive to see the wild horses. Eric was very responsive and helpful! We had a great relaxing week!

Jo and Michael were amazing hosts! We got a flat tire on our way down and they were so sweet to make sure that we had snacks and breakfast and the lights on when we arrived. Everything was clean and their home was beautiful! We will definitely be returning again and will recommend to our friends.

Several areas on property to gather and dine, but also many areas to read quietly away from the group Plentiful kitchen supplies, very well outfitted with silverware and dinnerware Jorge answered all our questions quickly and accurately We hope to return to this area and will plan to stay again

We enjoyed our vacation at this home very much. the description was accurate and the house very clean and well organized. We had to reach out to the host a few times and they were extremely responsive in a timely manner. The location of this house is awesome, grocery store and restaurants are just a short drive or walk. We enjoyed the 2nd story hot tub and the beach access was very convenient. The large recreational room on the 1st floor kept the kids entertained!! Overall, we had a fabulous week at this home and it was perfect for our large family.

Grouper Therapy is conveniently located - walkable to beach, sound, restaurants/stores in Duck, and neighborhood pool. The house had a floor plan with 3 King bedrooms + 1 more that worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was well appointed - provides everything you need if you want to cook in. We appreciated all the extras provided - high chair, beach chairs, carts, tv in every bedroom. Our family really enjoyed our week in Duck.

We loved this house. It was perfect for my parents and grandmother and also my boys.

The amenities were amazing! The pools, the indoor water park, the peddle boats and the beach parking really made this trip even better! The unit itself was very nice and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip and plan on staying here again!

Sue’s house was perfect for our family of 10! A 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. A fabulous pool for all of us to enjoy. A lovely decorated home with plenty of bedrooms and new bathrooms. Loved the outdoor showers. Well equipped kitchen for all our meals. And a porch to watch magnificent sunsets at night! Sue was quick to answer all my questions.

Eli responded to our questions very fast. The house is spacious than the expected. A very convenient place for the beach and other places. Not too close not very far.

We have been going to Corolla for years. This was one of the best stays we have ever had. The house was perfect. Everything was well appointed and there were a lot of little things Sam had thought of that most places don’t. Things like trash bags, a bowl of various cooking spices and enough paper towels. Otherwise the layout of the house was perfect with plenty of space for everyone. Being across the street from the sports complex was awesome too and whatever you can’t walk to the trolley was right there and easy to use. I also cannot speak highly enough of the amenities in Corolla Light! The pools were awesome and the beaches even better. Thanks for a great stay!

JB and Chris’ place was extremely clean and looked as beautiful as the pictures! Everything was exactly as they stated which made for an extremely enjoyable visit!
