Holiday rentals in Danforth

Our group needed a place to stay in a pinch that allowed dogs and was available last-minute. The host was understanding of our unique needs and super accommodating and flexible. The home was clean and very cute / well decorated!

Ashley was the perfect host for the perfect location. We weren’t there 5 minutes before we knew that we would be finding a reason to plan a return visit in the near future. We were needing a “home base” for our large family for the weekend, in order to attend a celebration of life and funeral services for my husband’s recently deceased mother. It was a long weekend of obligations, but every member of our family was able to find comfort, refuge, peace & calm …not only within the perfectly accommodated home …but also out on the beautiful, scenic property. It became our “safe space” for a pretty hard weekend. We enjoyed reminiscing with family around the fire pit in the evening and watching deer stroll by as we sipped our coffee on the porch in the morning. Ashley’s hospitality & attention to detail was top notch. There wasn’t anything she didn’t think of & there were even a few generosities (pertaining to the nature of our visit) that we could have never expected. We WILL be back!

Our holiday began perfectly, thanks to this wonderful country home! It exceeded our expectations and felt like a dream come true. The house was cozy and ideal for our family of five, offering a charming and authentic countryside experience. As this is a true country home, visitors should expect to encounter some critters and enjoy the rustic charm of older amenities. For us, this only added to the experience, making it even more unique and memorable. We loved exploring the property, where we saw chickens, Bengal cats, and horses. My daughter especially enjoyed the swing, spending every morning and evening out there—it quickly became her favorite spot! This peaceful retreat was exactly what we needed to escape the chaos of city life. Diana, we are so grateful for your hospitality and this amazing experience. We can’t wait to return soon!

Great stay at Wilson's place. Though a bit tricky to find at night, we had everything we needed to be comfortable for a two night stay. Kitchen and bath were beautiful, and the living area comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable, as we slept great. Overnight, it was unbelievably quiet which added to such a restful sleep. The immediate area is a bit industrial, but the place is well designed so you do not notice once you are inside. It was nice to come back to a peaceful and comfortable place after a day at UIUC. Would recommend to anyone willing to drive about 20 minutes north of Champaign/ Urbana while visiting.

Thank you Lynn for hosting my siblings and me during our stay in Bradley. We enjoyed our stay there - it was just what we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

Great host will definitely be going back in the future

We enjoyed our stay, perfect for our family coming from two different states to visit relatives in nearby towns. The house was clean, welcoming, and beds were very comfortable. If the weather would have cooperated during our visit, we would definitely have loved to sit out on the back deck. Would stay again!

We travel across Illinois for work and have stayed at Sarah's place several times. Sarah is a great communicator, and the house is always neat and clean. We'll be staying here again next time we're in her neighborhood!
