Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Since August 2021, our coach house has been converted into Guesthouse! Hosting the first Guesthouse was so good that we decided to add a second one. The house is free on our property of 4.5 hectares. The view is beautiful and overlooks the meadow. The plot has a large swimming pond with beach, an orchard with flower garden, a field with playground equipment and a meadow. Rural location t'Veurhuus in Staphorst.

Our cozy holiday home overlooking the meadows. Due to the rural location you can fully enjoy all the peace and space. Wake up by the whistling of the birds and regularly there are deer to be seen from the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and hiking. From the house you are after 500 meters in the forest to make a nice forest walk. The centre of Staphorst is 3.5 kilometres away with a wide choice of shops.

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (South). Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
