Binnen enkele kilometers vind je de schaapskooi, hunebedden, WOII-kenmerken en Giethoorn. Ruinerwold, 18th century farm

Our monumental farmhouse is located between Meppel and Ruinerwold. The original front house can accommodate up to 10 adults, or 6 adults and 7 children. Since its construction in 1756, this front house has remained unchanged, and the oldest trusses date back to the 12th century. The farmhouse, one of the most beautiful in Drenthe, has been a national heritage monument for over 60 years. It is not open to the public, but fortunately it has been documented in several books.

This detached studio is strategically located amidst ancient nature reserves such as the Reestdal and the Mantingerveld. The hiking and cycling routes literally start at the door!
