Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dent County

We were two single parents with teens, a preteen and a toddler and the space was perfect for us. Super cool yurt that was totally decked out. Comfortable bed. Very spacious. And all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable yet remote Glamping outdoor stay. Extra props for beautiful land with a creek within walking distance. the kids loved it.

Quiet, secluded and peaceful. The pond is so pretty! The cabin was amazing, sparkling clean, very well stocked, and super easy to find. The bed was so cute and quite comfy, complete with extra pillows! The water pressure in the shower will knock your socks off!! There are even 2 bbqs, both gas and charcoal. I can't say enough about the peacefulness. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the expansive deck, listening to the crickets, birds, frogs and squirrels was beyond relaxing! The beautiful fall colors were in abundance in late October with so many different types of trees on the property. James was an amazing host. He responded within seconds if I had a question. He was super accommodating too! There is plenty to do within a few miles of the cabin. Montauk State Park is just a short drive with amazing fishing and hiking, and the towns of Salem and Licking are very close (Salem even has a Walmart). The options for restaurants for any meal are abundant in both towns.

A beautiful house on a secluded acreage! Tons of amenities. Classic charm of a beautiful farm home. We loved the bbq and the huge fire pit. Great place to bring family or a group of friends. Really enjoyed our time there.

It was great. A perfect weekend getaway. Super clean, the hot tub and fire pit were both great. Definitely would recommend!!!

Cortney’s place was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful!! I have two toddlers and they loved sitting on the back porch listening to animals and playing all around the cabin. Beautiful place and highly recommend. Cortney was quick to respond and was very friendly! Thanks for providing a beautiful place for my family to enjoy!

Only stayed here for one night. We got in late and left early in the morning so we didn’t get to really enjoy the place. An older house but set up nicely for the most part. Only complaint was the ladybugs but it is ladybug season so.. no biggie. Nice area. Pond in the back. Nice drive through the ozarks to get there.

My family and I had such a great time at Cary’s this past weekend. It was so quiet out there. Cary was a great host. The place was spotless and she was very responsive with messages. It rained all weekend, like flooding everywhere type rain, and Cary checked in on us to make sure we were safe and that meant a great deal to me. We will definitely be back this summer!
