Had a great time at this Airbnb! The space was sparkling clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Everything was as advertised, and even beyond my expectations. The location is ideal with all amenities nearby. A big thank you to the host for his warm welcome and availability, always ready to answer my questions and make sure everything goes smoothly. I would highly recommend this place and will gladly come back if the opportunity arises! Thanks again for a great experience!

Annie is charming and welcoming. The listing was as advertised and therefore what we expected. Located less than 1 hour from Marais Poitevin, the sea, Palmyra Zoo, Ile d 'Oléron, Rochefort, La Rochelle... Less than 1/4 hour from Surgères where there is everything to do your shopping... Perfect 👍 With this exceptional August heat, we would have dreamed of a small pool😁, but we had the Ocean and its 28-29 degrees for a late day swim. We recommend this beautiful little cottage.

We had an exceptional stay at this place! Everything was as described. 👍The cottage was clean, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. The bedding was particularly comfortable, the setting is very pretty and also very relaxing. The location is ideal, close to the PUY DU FOU park where we had a wonderful time (to be done without hesitation) The owner was extremely responsive, welcoming but also very discreet, ready to answer any questions we had. We were three moms for 6 kids ranging from 3 to 11 years old, and we had a great stay at Domaine de la Barre. Frank is very welcoming , available and discreet, friendly. The place is beautiful, peaceful, nature is respected. The many activities delighted young and old: canoeing, swimming pool with slide, mini golf, walk around the lake, trampoline, swing, the chalet was very pleasant with its large covered terrace that allowed you to live outside, even when the rain pointed its nose. I would highly recommend this refreshing place where I would definitely come back.
