A nice, clean house with all facilities you could need in a a beautiful location - gorgeous view over fields and lovely sunsets from the bedroom window. Close to train station and commuter train to the city, right next to the canal for walks if you want and Lidl supermarket. Very peaceful, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen. Gustavo was a laidback and helpful host.

I needed somewhere to stay for one night due to a work conference and this place was perfect. Dolores was extremely helpful and communicated clearly with fast response. The place itself was pristine and especially enjoyed the extra touches of milk, butter, bread and eggs along with a Nespresso coffee machine and air fryer for connivence. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a very restful nights sleep. 5/5 ⭐️

Staying at the Bog Man's Rest was a wonderful experience. Brian was away during my stay, but his Dad, Paddy, who runs the pub next door, was a friendly and helpful host, helping with questions on how to lock the AirBnB door, answering questions about Irish culture, and pouring the best pints of Guinness I've ever had. The bed was quite comfortable, the water heater was easy to use, and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. If you're looking for a home base in Co. Kildare and want to experience a living, breathing, family-owned pub and grocer loved by the community, stay here! One note - I think the accommodations are sized for an individual or couple (or maybe with one small child). The guest house is grand, but it might be tight for a family, and I only say that as I would stay with my family if we could fit (I was by myself). You won't go wrong here! Plus, Kildare town is only a 10 min drive away, so you're near the old historical town, shops, and more.

A great place for a group of people. Really nice location - within 30 minutes drive to Dublin. 2 minutes walk to a well stocked convenience store. Peaceful village.
