Holiday rentals with breakfast in Digby County

We had a wonderful time staying here! Judie and Len are fantastic hosts in a beautiful home and surroundings-clean, comfortable, and full of character. Very friendly and helpful…and especially generous and helpful when we had car trouble! Highly recommend and hope to stay here again should we return! Thank you for a wonderful stay in NS!

what a fantastic stay. Justin & Christie are so kind and they're home is amazing. so much work went into all the little details. breakfast was amazing as was the conversation. the grounds are beautiful. sincere Canadian hospitality. they went above and beyond in so many ways, but especially when Justin picked up pizza for us when our hike took much longer than anticipated and the restaurant was closing. if ever we return, we will certainly stay with them. very convenient to whale watching too! thanks for everything! Felt right at home at Judy and Len’s! The room was very clean and welcoming. Water and treats awaited us. The prompt breakfast each morning at 8am was like sitting with long lost friends. Judy was helpful in recommending local favourites, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended for a great place to stay!

These two are the most amazing hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming. Loved the historic character of this beautiful place that is tastefully decorated overlooking the cove. And the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake of a perfect getaway… I’ll be back! Thank you Justin and Christie for hosting me despite your super busy weekend!

We absolutely loved staying with Judie and Len. They were so incredibly welcoming and the space was very homey. The breakfast served was good, and the room and cute and cozy. They really made us feel at home and we even made friends with the other guests staying in the other room! Would definitely come back.

I would highly recommend staying here. It is exactly as described, included a delicious breakfast, and tons of interesting conversations. Our room was quiet and private with all the amenities you’d hope for. The home is a beautiful combination of new and old (was built in the 1800s). Will definitely stay again as it was a great price and super close to Brier Island!

We were greeted by Judie with an umbrella while it was raining. Judie and Len were very welcoming and we enjoyed having conversations with them. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided by Judie was healthy and delicious. Judie made and baked a loaf of homemade bread our first evening there. We explored the Digby and Annapolis area from Judie’s recommendations and had a great time. Trying the local scallops at one of the local restaurants is a must while in the area. They are the best we’ve ever eaten.

We were late checking in but there was a note at the desk with the host's number - she answered straight away and explained where the room key was. Loved the beautiful old house - well maintained and full of character. Breakfast was across the road in an equally lovely house. All in all enjoyed my stay and would stay again if in the area.

Leslie and Kevin have an impressive home which they generously share with others. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from the historic downtown. Breakfast was great and we appreciated all the historic information Kevin provided.

Shelburne is beautiful. Simply beautiful. Lovely water; charming historic buildings, including this house across from the bay; and friendly people, especially including these hosts. I very much enjoyed the art in the house and the good breakfasts, with home-made baked goods. You can’t go wrong here!

Very charming place to stay, the additional touch of the robes provided for us (since this room didnt have an en suite) was very thoughtful. Bathroom was large and clean, bedroom was perfect for us but may feel tight for two people with many bags so bare that in mind. The hosts are friendly, offered options of activities in the area and breakfast was a nice sit down affair. It was nice to meet Kermit, the official greeter. The tea/ coffee station upstairs was great, overall we were quite happy with the accommodations. Thank you for having us

Kimberlee was welcoming and a terrific host. She made us feel at home and cooked a delicious breakfast for us at 6:30 am accommodating our need for an early start. The room was comfortable and very clean. Her house has a great location right by the boardwalk and harbor. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset when we arrived and the sunrise as we left. We highly recommend that you stay at Mama’s by the Sea.

If you want to feel like royalty, this is the place! Such a beautiful home and meticulously maintainted. The hosts are extremely pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was beyond expectations, and the bonus? Your in the home of a choclatier! Some of the favortie travel favors I purchased on my trip. The home is in a lovely location on the doorstep to downtown and the ferry. Absolutley perfect!

Michael and his partner were super friendly! Linens and bed were pristine, appreciated the terry cloth robes and slippers. Bed was extremely comfortable; blackout curtains enable you to sleep in. It's an old house that's been lovingly restored, but be aware the upstairs floors do slant a bit. You need to walk up a flight of stairs to your room. DVD player with TV available in bedroom. Very cozy. Michael offers Continental breakfast for you, on your schedule. Lovely artwork on the walls. Friendly, fluffy cat lives there too, but stays out of your room. Easy walking distance to downtown Eastport. You get a harbor view, just a few steps out the door. Michael is happy to share his extensive DVD collection with you, of old TV shows and films. Mini fridge in the room.
