The Lodge is adjacent to the main house and shares a drive. It is located in the heart of Stoke Gabriel village and 7 minutes walk to the river Dart, shops, pubs and the River Shack cafe. Smugglers’ Creek is a cosy traditional fisherman’s cottage on the riverside in the lovely village of Stoke Gabriel, South Hams. There is a slipway just outside the cottage where you can launch your dinghy or kayak, and you can also hire a kayak from the quay in summer. Directly opposite the cottage is the fab River Shack Cafe for delicious drinks and meals morning to night (Thurs to Sunday in winter)The village boasts 2 pubs and a restaurant, general store with P.O. and the Dart River Gallery.

A peaceful and picturesque 4 bedroom thatched cottage, situated on the banks of the river Dart in the beautiful South Devon village of Dittisham. At high tide you can enjoy sailing to your door (or paddle boarding!) and fishing from the terrace. At all times of day, and in all seasons, you can take in the comings and goings of boats, canoes and the fantastic local wildlife, including the inquisitive seals who sometimes pop up right by the terrace to get a closer look at guests!
