The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Garden room 't Strunerke

Come and stay in the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. This area is known for its many alder groves. A beautiful green area, with many cycling and walking paths. Located on the N358, you will be on the road again in no time for a visit to the Wadden Islands or the eleven cities in Friesland. Our garden borders the meadows of Staatsbosbeheer and has a wide view. With a bit of luck, you'll see the deer walking. For 15.00 euros per person per night, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Wake up in the last century at the Marthahoeve!

Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of the three bedsteads! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have your own entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet room. Breakfast is available for 13 euros pp. Please note: the bedsteads are smaller than a double bed. The 2 bedsteads in the room are 200x115 and the bedstead in the kitchen is 190x120

Special B&B "Het Zevende Leven".

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

A nice vacation home to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. You can enjoy cycling and hiking here. Also a base for a day of Wadden or a day in the city, for example Groningen or Dokkum

Rural cottage with lush courtyard

Sleeping in a tiny house avant la lettre. That's possible with us. Our recently renovated cottage offers a separate living and sleeping floor, is basic but still has all the comforts. Located in the old and rural Enumatil, this is the ideal place for a quiet (nature) vacation or mini break. In the immediate vicinity, there are beautiful cycling routes to be found and forest, heath or Groningen city can be found within a fifteen-minute drive.

Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

Het Twadde Hûske is a cosy and comfortable apartment which can be booked for 4 to 6 people (read the advertisement for further details). Het Twadde Hûske has a soothing view over the meadows, located on a private road, with a nice terrace with lounge chairs and a picnic table. Equipped with air conditioning (for heating and cooling). It is, in my humble opinion, the most complete Airbnb you can find, will you come and try it out? 🏡

Cottage by the pond

Looking for a nice place to relax and unwind? This cottage is located by a pond overlooking meadows. The cottage has its own entrance, coffee and Senseo, kitchen, and terrace. The cottage has a wood-fired private sauna with + color therapy. The bedroom is located upstairs. This is 1 large room with two single beds and one double bed. The cottage overlooks a pond and meadows where horses, goats, chickens and ducks reside.

In the beautiful landscape of the Fryske Wâlden, we live on the Twizelerfeart. Surrounded by peace and space but also close to the bustle of Leeuwarden, Dokkum and Drachten, this wonderful place offers something for everyone. Great hiking or cycling!
