Monthly Rentals in Dong Thap

Place to unplug and venture into an area with no tourist influence! 3 hours from Ho Chi Minh city (direct bus), Sa Dec offers beautiful scenery on the Mekong and the Pepinieres (flower capital). We were hosted very well by Phong and her family (her son speaks English very well) who do everything they need to do you a favor. The cabins are beautiful, rustic and are located around a small gated pond where you can swim. In the bedroom there was a mosquito net, fans and drinking water (be careful mattress a little hard). We rented bikes (50k vnd/day) and loved walking around the accommodation (small paths that run along rivers, away from city traffic). We dined every night on site (50k to 75k vnd/person) it was delicious and varied, as was the local breakfast (included in the price). We were sometimes bothered by the very loud karaoke music of the neighbors but this is very common in Vietnam.

Great place! Staffs are friendly and professional. The surrounding is peaceful but not too isolated. We could walk to nearby restaurants and convenient stores with ease. Overall, Lá Homestay worthwhile considering its price range and services.

Really very nice place 10 out of 10 We had a perfect stay. Hanna and especially her boyfriend are incredibly nice. There's so much to explore. Above all, the beautiful Pagoda with the reclining Buddha (Chua Thien Kim) and the old Vietkong stronghold (Xeo Quyt) are beautiful. The flower city is a bit far away for what it can, but since you can borrow the scooter from the accommodation (very nice) still worth a trip alone through the "scooter ferry". However, there are a few points that were less bad for us, but we still couldn't read from the listing. The home has no door and the windows can't be closed, which gives the whole thing a camping vibe. In addition, you have to go out to the toilet where some mosquitoes are waiting in the evening (showering or longer toilet stays are therefore only possible in the morning;)). We would really still come back any time!!!
