Le Petit Chaudenas - Private Pool and Woodland

Part of a former wine producing farm built over 300 years ago, Le Petit Chaudenas features a beautiful, large swimming pool and is set in over 5 Hectares of private garden and woodlands. Located in the tiny hamlet of Toury in the Mâconnais region with its famous Appellations Villages: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Viré-Clessé, the area is ideal for wine tasting as well as being only 10 mins drive from Cormatin, the community of Taizé and the historical town of Cluny.

Our cottage was partly renovated by us to make it a welcoming and relaxing place. This old barn where my grandfather and then my dad pressed the grapes, from this time there remains the screw of the press which proudly stands in the center of the living room. The accommodation is on the ground floor and has all the amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen area with a dining area, a TASSIMO coffee maker. Sleeping area with 160 x 200 bedding and dressing room. Bathroom, equipped with a sink and a 80 x 80 cm shower and toilet. Small terrace with table and chairs in full sun at breakfast. Parking space at your disposal as well as a bicycle shelter.

And for families, there is the Voie Verte for cycling, swimming at the nearby pool at Azé, and interesting visits to local caves.

Come and discover the charm of Southern Burgundy, in Igé. Our studio, completely separate from our home, with a private terrace, will ensure tranquility and comfort during your stay. Parking is available in our private courtyard, a remote control to open the gate is provided. Our house is 15 minutes from the highway, Mâcon, 15 minutes from Cluny, 20 minutes from Roche de Solutré. Towels and bed linen are provided.

In the heart of the Mâcon vineyards, Saint Gengoux de Scissé is a very pleasant village. The studio on the ground floor of our house has a double bed (140 x 200), a bathroom with shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, kettle, toaster, Senseo, oven, vitro, etc.). We leave tea and coffee at your disposal. You have access to our pool and terraces. NO POOL PRIVATIZATION!!! Or day pool rental!!!

On Saturday mornings you can also enjoy its magnificent market animated by local producers. Halfway between Mâconnais and Charolais, you will surely appreciate this picturesque, lively and timeless city!

You will find yourself in the historic heart of the abbey city, in one of the old streets, very quiet, a 3-minute walk from the shopping street and the old abbey. You will have access to the green courtyard, with a terrace area reserved for you. Possibility to park two bicycles safely. The studio is new, renovated with natural and quality materials that keep it cool in summer.

Simple, small apartment in a beautiful valley. Near Cluny (6km) and Taizé (9km), 25 minutes from Macon, 22 minutes from the motorway at Macon and my preferred route if you travel from the North is the D981 through Buxy and Cormatin, the wine route which is magnificent, particularly in October, a sea of gold.
