Beachfront holiday rentals in Douglas County

Lovely stay, the well appointed cabin had two rooms. One with a full/queen bed, the other with twin bunks. There is a nice pull out couch in the living room. Comfortable space for our family of 5. Lake is beautiful, two places to have a campfire. Keith and his wife were great hosts! Location was a little further from Duluth than anticipated (40 minute drive). Lots to do in the area!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beachfront gem on Park Point! Easy beach access was a dream, and Marty McFly (our pup!) gave it two paws up for being so dog-friendly. The location was perfect for strolling to Canal Park's restaurants and shops. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient Duluth getaway!

Had a great weekend! Right next to the lift bridge and a quick walk to Canal Park. Great views of superior from the deck. Very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast and coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again for a Duluth visit.

The cabin was comfortable and we loved the location. Its right off of a quiet beach and walking distance from the pier; it really is the best of both worlds! We highly recommend staying here. Kathy was great to work with.

Location location! This beautiful, new space is a quick walk to the beach and all the fun in Canal Park. Amazing view of Lake Superior from the living room/kitchen. Comfortable and ample seating in the living room. Everything here is new and clean! Appreciated the amount of bath and dish towels available - a huge plus! Host is very quick to respond and ensure the visit is A+. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful setting - plenty of comfortable beds and great kitchen with lots of stocked items - had everything we could need - enjoyed the fall colors, saw deer, geese and other wildlife. Lots of windows, plenty of seating - enjoyed Netflix to watch a movie. Would definitely stay here again - too cold to swim or canoe/kayak or fish but would love to return in the summer. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

There are no words how we loved David's place. We were so amazed and never experienced the same. First of all I would like to mention the surroundings of the cabin with an amazing view to the lake with magical wildlife. Around sunset deers got so active and spotted some. The night along with wolves howling and owl calls gave us very unique experience what we never forgotten.Unfortunatelly we did not have a chance to see black bears in the bear country, but next time. 😉 About the cabin: Spotless clean, cosy,well equipped and unique forest athmosphere/design, characterized the entire interior. Served our needs completely. We have got way too more than we expected. Definiteley back again. Thank you for everything David.

Terrific host. Great communication. This is actually someone's home, which is a nice departure from other Airbnb's. Very clean and comfortable. It's on the right side of the boat launch, so there's very little traffic in front of the house. We didn't really use the downstairs at all, but there were just 2 of us. Only thing I wish for improvement is that the seating on the upstairs deck was covered by awning or umbrellas. Would definitely stay here again.

As advertised. Very well maintained cabin on the lake. Amazing views of the lake through the massive wall of windows. Plenty of towels. An abundance of fire wood for the awesome wood burning stove. We had two couples stay for an extended weekend and there was plenty of space. We snowshoed out onto the lake and across to Crownhart Island. Visited various people ice fishing. Only 30 min from Superior and 35 min or so from Duluth. Highly recommend. Our group wants to come back up in the summer! A lot of attention to detail and great communication by hosts, David and Vanessa.

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

Everything was perfect. When at the house we spent most of our stay on the back porch- comfortable, well appointed and gorgeous views. Loved the Bluetooth lantern speaker! All the instructions easy and the sauna was a bonus- even did a quick dip in the lake which is say a lot for April! Next time we hope to have time for the fire pit. Daily walk along Brighton Beach and the Lakewalk to Lake Superior Brewery. Lunch from Falenstin- both wonderful!

We stayed Brian’s Dowling Lakefront Lodge with my husband’s family to celebrate Christmas! We had a wonderful stay, the cottage had everything we needed and more for our stay. The game room was a big hit and the younger kiddos even enjoyed sledding on the lake. The listing is as shown - the house has so much character and the bedrooms all have different sleeping arrangements which worked great for our group. There are 2.5 bathrooms but only 1 shower but that was not an issue for our group. The game table in the family room provided an extra spot for multiple game options. The property was easy to find thanks to the clear instructions/directions Brian provided. He was a very responsive host and easy to work with! We went to Bentleyville and we also went to Manitou Falls. Fantastic stay, we will be back! Thank you!

The View was Fantastic! Multiple spaces for everyone to enjoy inside and out . All of the things we needed in the kitchen . Well insulated

Perfect Airbnb. Had everything needed plus extra snacks, ice maker, extra blankets…exceeded all expectations!

our family had a lovely family gathering here. with grandparents, fathers, mothers, kids ranging from 9-3, uncles and aunts it was a perfect place to fit us all! plenty of amenities for our meal time and bath and bed time. the location can not be beat if your looking to enjoy all duluth has to offer! even though it was cold (march weather) we enjoyed lake superior beach right out the back door, and easily walked to canal park.

This himewas beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. A bustling city just a few minutes away with great restaurants and shops. We loved our stay. Nancy was very friendly and responsive. We look forward to visiting again!
