A perfect spot to stay for a couple of nights in Halifax. It felt like with a 10-15 minute drive you could get almost anywhere in Halifax from here, so a perfect location. We had our dog with us and the fenced back yard was perfect. There was a cute park just a 10 minute walk away that our dog loved. Very grateful for the ease of this spot!

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s home and would highly recommend it! The home is immaculate, spacious and fully equipped with all the necessary items. We rented a car so the location was perfect, just a short drive to the city and 5 mins to the grocery store. We did take an Uber into downtown Halifax one evening, which was inexpensive. Jennifer’s communication was friendly and responsive. Thank you for such a smooth check-in and for all your “best-of” reccomendations.

A great base for our weekend visiting friends and family in Bedford, Halifax, and Dartmouth. Very spacious accommodation with a full kitchen and a great deck. Loved all the fall colours and the quiet surroundings. Easy access to the airport for our very early flight. Everything was super clean and hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend. We didn't bring any dogs on this trip but I love that the house was dog friendly.

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

PAM & J.P were extraordinary. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an unexpected extra. Gustave is going to miss Maple a lot. Small comment WHICH IS NOT A CRITICISM. The refrigerator is not very big, so don't do too much grocery shopping at once. We arrived with too many things and not everything fit. But again, that's okay. There's a grocery store not far away. It's very easy. Just don't plan too far ahead if you have a big family like mine. The pool is amazing!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches. We had a great time with the family!!!

we absolutely loved our stay in the cottages! We were able to use a lot of their amenities, Kayaks, boat, pool.. it was so much fun and we made some great memories as a family! Thank you to Katelyn for the great cottage and customer service, we hope to come back again :)

Dan's home was even better than the pictures suggested. The property is stunning, inside and out. Dan was a very thoughtful host, and was quick to reply when we had any questions. Everything was nicely laid out and was easy to locate. All the instructions we needed were located in the welcome booklet. Some days it was almost difficult to leave the house and go into the city because everything there was so great. We had an amazing time at Dan's place and would recommend it to everyone.

I did mess up by not reading close enough and book a place where it had people living upstairs, but it was my laziness and honestly the family were silent through the night. if you're staying somewhere for a week or more this place has everything you need. highly recommend

A rustic apartment with a second floor entrance at the back. Parking was limited. A nice spot close to the downtown scene.

My friends and I stayed at Erin’s place for 4 days while visiting Nova Scotia and it was a very calm and peaceful stay just outside of Halifax with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend going here if you want a nice peaceful stay near Halifax!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The host was extremely helpful and kind. We come out to nova scotia once a year and always love our time here. The host was so kind to let us charge our car on their property with our janky 100ft extention cord. The host was so kind when we met them in person one morning.
