Exactly as described! Perfect for a family stay. Close to the beach and everything else you would want or want to go is within 30 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

Steff’s place had all the right touches, from the soft comfy bedding to the Nintendo console. It felt like home, cozy and comfortable. The amenities were very thoughtful, especially the bacon & eggs as well as pizzas in the fridge. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Robert’s place was great! I ended up extending twice and would have extended longer if not for the fact it was already booked. The place is great, just like described. We had a great time staying in Old Town! The apartment was comfortable and had plenty of space. The area is walkable and there’s a lot to do around town; we enjoyed walking by the river. The kitchen had standard supplies, the bed was comfortable, and there’s laundry accessible right by the front door. We’d be happy to stay again next time we’re in town!

Chad was an outstanding host. The place was spotless, well-stocked, and exactly as described. Communication was fast and friendly, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

This is our second visit to this beach condo and we enjoyed it as much as our first stay. Plenty of room on the 3 floors, enjoyed grilling out on the deck and so close to the beach. Staight forward and good communication from the host.

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Great neighborhood with lots of options within walking distance. Support local businesses for breakfast and dinner…Convenient to the beach and boardwalk. Great hospitality!

This was a wonderful location with personal touches and thoughtful planning. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked, yard was perfect for our dog and beds were clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the beach which was a quick walk away. Brian was responsive on the two occasions I had to reach him. The home was close to Little Creek base which was convenient to see our son. Parking was terrific and the home is on a street that is not too busy. The only negative that I’d have is that (as a middle aged woman who sleeps HOT) we were unable to adjust the home’s temperature below 68. Ceiling fans and oscillating fans were available which was helpful. Overall would recommend this home and its host and will likely be back in the future!

Everything was nice and the host was very responsive. My original reservation was for 6 nights and there was a mix up on my check out date, aside from that, this was a very nice place. Thank you for all your help. I would recommend this place to anybody. Very beautiful property.

Had a great time staying at Lisa's home. The place was a very beautiful home and a peaceful neighborhood. Spacious living area as well as the bathrooms and rooms.

We were very pleased with the house. Just be careful w little ones, all vent covers were not secured to the floor properly and that could be safety hazard. One disappointment we had -although the beach was very close (5 minutes walk) there were runoff pipes all along the beach. Public beach a 5 minute drive. We ended up driving to Virginia Beach and had much better time there, 40 minute drive.

LOVED our stay here, we were in town visiting a family member that is stationed in the area. Place was easy to find and had so much to do in the area. The home was so adorable I loved the Blue touches all over with the beachy theme. Everything was a described. We had one small concert and Samantha jumped into action to make sure it was taken care of and was great with following up to make sure we were happy with the resolution. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Came with my girls for a conference at the Beach. Salt and Serenity was super peaceful, felt private and quiet. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the showers was awesome. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all amenities were as described. Susan was a great, responsive host and made accommodations for our early check-in. And all the restaurant suggestions were a hit! Would definitely come again!

The condo was cute and just a block from the beach. Our host left some snacks, and basic necessities that are easily forgotten. The beds were very comfortable, and our host provided towels and beach gear to make our trip fun. The condo is an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It was perfect for our few days relaxing at the beach.

This is a new favorite spot for my writing retreats. The space is clean and safe with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The lawn area and pool are wonderful spaces to relax after a day on the beach. Driftwood restaurant and Pelon’s are favorites of mine, and such an easy walk! Bed was cozy, kitchen was well stocked, and the balcony was a perfect place to watch the sunrises. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to stay again.

The unit was as pictured and described. Very clean. Beautiful location and view. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Very convenient location to beach, walking / running path and bike riding. Host was easy to contact, friendly and responsive.

Wonderful host! Cozy, relaxing setup. We are moving to Texas and needed a place to stay for a week after the movers came to our home. This Airbnb was so nice, I would live in it full time! Very kind and sweet host as well!

This location can't be beat! An easy walk to the oceanfront boardwalk - surrounded by bars, restaurants, shopping and stores - we had an absolutely wonderful long weekend. The accommodations were great - super comfy beds and a modern, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels/linens, great climate control - just an ideal place to stay! Will absolutely book again next time we're in the area.

Awesome place. Super clean and comfortable. Also, feels like the host has actually lived there so everything is set up in a way that feels natural. All the cooking utensils and pots and pans were great quality, not that cheap stuff you get a most airbnbs. That’s important to us because we end up making a lot of quick breakfasts in the morning for our two year old. Anyway, nice touch. Lots of stuff to walk to and the new Indian restaurant Rangsa is a block away. That might be one of the best restaurants in the area and it being walkable is great. Great host, super communicative. Had a great stay!
