✨ We had a wonderful two-night stay at Rose Cottage in Eskdale. It’s an absolutely charming and cosy cottage, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need – from kitchen essentials to lovely little touches that make it feel like a home from home. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We enjoyed two beautiful walks during our stay – one from Dalegarth to St Catherine’s Church, and another to Devoke Water and the atmospheric stone circle on Wonder Hill. The scenery is stunning, and it felt like we had the landscape all to ourselves. Rose Cottage was the perfect base to return to – peaceful, comfortable, and full of character. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in one of the Lake District’s quieter, most beautiful valleys.

We had a great stay at Dinah’s. Family trip with my elderly Mum. Ideal layout as all on one level with a small step up into shower. Great location with easy access North and South. Dinah very helpful with any questions. Thanks Dinah, hope to be back in the future for a little longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, helped us to enjoy our weekend even more. Amazing views from the hot tub. Incredible location for what we wanted to do. Lisa is attentive and very friendly. Really cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty going on. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and lots of activities in the surrounding area to keep you busy! Nancy is a great host who was able to provide lots of advice on things to do and her guidebook was great for booking meals out! Will definitely be back
