Without crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. In the middle of the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the ideal starting point for walking and cycling trips. Walking distance to cozy downtown with restaurants, coffee shops, shops and wedding venue Buitenplaats Sparrendaal. 3-minute walk to nearest supermarket. You can park your bike or car for free in front of the door or on your own property.

Through the oldest city park in the Netherlands, you cross the IJssel with the ferry and you are in the middle of the lively city center. Or walk around the corner into the floodplains.

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

De Kweepeer is a cozy space in the bakery that is located next to a farmhouse. The house has all the comforts. Beemte Broekland is located in a rural area between Apeldoorn and Deventer. You love a vintage look and quiet environment, especially in the evening. The Veluwe and the IJssel are easy to visit, but cities like Zutphen and Zwolle are also easily accessible. You may park the car(s) by the house. We do not provide a breakfast service. Come stay!
