An absolutely beautiful Shepherd’s hut! My daughter and I booked for her 13th birthday and we both had a lovely stay. Perfectly situated for the Lake District. The hut was spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed, detailed instructions with contact numbers for local restaurants and even a garage if we had car problems! The bed is extremely comfy, and the views are spectacular! Did need to message Ellie about the wifi - I am rubbish with technology and she replied almost straight away! Can’t recommend highly enough and would love to come back and stay!!

Beautiful flat in a beautiful setting. Looking out through the trees to the Pennines beyond. Surrounded by birds and nature. Quiet and peaceful. No need to drive - walk straight out into the wild from the front door. Flat was decorated and furnished to a top class standard with all the utilities and utensils you could possibly need. Dawn and Derek left us to the peace and quiet but were close by to happily help if needed. Great place to get away. Loved it.

This was our third visit to Clara's place very friendly and approachable host's the flat as always was spotless, Clara had supplied milk, local home made bread, butter, homemade jam and breakfast cereals including porridge pots, tea, coffee, toaster and microwave. Ample parking for our car and trailer, lovely quiet village 10 minute drive from Appleby, we will definitely stay again. Thank you Clara and family.

Rebecca was a wonderful host , warm and welcoming. The Barn was immaculate on arrival and the welcome gifts were a real treat . The grounds that guests have access to are tranquil and idyllic. Would highly recommended to others and would love to go back . Thank you Rebecca for providing us with such a lovely place to stay .
