Holiday rentals with a sauna in Dumfries and Galloway

absolutely lovely place to stay and hide away for a few days! can't wait to return 😁 arrived around 6ish, no issue with getting keys from the bar. it is very well signposted at each area to turn into. walks straight from door step or a short drive away. Chalet was clean and tidy. . . WOW to the shower pressure ! amazing .. . & beds, very comfortable. Internet connection was spot on. my phone kept thinking it was somewhere else, but as the Internet so good it isn't noticeable, just maybe turn your roaming off, depending on the phone plan you have. (nearest petrol station roughly 15/20minutes away) side note *the sat nav, if heading towards Port William from site, will take you (it did me anyway) on a nice off road trip. definitely interesting in my VW polo🤣, but all apart of the journey! if you are in a small vehicle or aren't comfortable driving on something other than tarmac, don't take the left after leaving site, keep going straight until the next left.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful place we have stayed at. If you want off the grid- this is the place. Stunning views, friendly hosts and the site has all you need. If you did want to venture out, there is plenty to visit and do. This place has been put in my top 3 places of all places.

We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

Just returned from a three day stay at Michael's place. It was fabulous, great communication from Michael, the apartment was spotless ,easy check in, very quiet beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for all areas, great walks. Lots of eating places nearby. Swimming pool was a bonus! Would definitely recommend Michael's place. We will go back again !

Such a gorgeous stay at Jerrys place! We loved the location - easy access to lots of the Lake District. Decorated lovely and a home away from home feel. Staff on site were lovely, and Jerry was really helpful with any questions we had - responded quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay! We’ll be back!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

The caravan was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and right by the little pond - definitely the best spot in the holiday park! It had all the equipment we needed and there was lots to do for the children around the holiday park as well. Can't fault it really..

This is a lovely stay and central to lots of great walks and places to visit. Very peaceful area and both the inside and outside were very clean.

Amazing weekend away with the family. The house was very spacious for the 8 of us. The house was clean & the owners were very responsive whenever we had a question. The hot tub & sauna was a bonus along with the pool table & darts board! I think this will be a yearly thing now. Thanks again unreal value for money !!!

We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. I have a few observations, however. Please, could you provide more toilet rolls and dish water tablets. I t is not convenient to run out of tablets at 9 in the evening and to have to wash dishes by hand after 10 people have had dinner. It is also rather embarrassing to have to go in search of loo roll .Also, I think it would be helpful if you could provide some extra bin liners. I did not want to write these comments in the visitors' book as it may have seemed petty. Over all, it was a very enjoyable experience and you also provided excellent weather! Thank you, Vee

lovely cottage on a quiet complex with lots to do for children (included in price to!) will definitely be booking again 😊 cottage itself was in immaculate condition with everything you need provided, all bedding and towels smelt lovely and clean, baby plates, highchair and Cutlery there also. great place to stay, close to keswick and penrith within 20min drive.
