Tang Hall was my first stop on a 15 day tour to do the NC500, and it didn't disappoint. Wendy and Fynn greated me with a warm and friendly welcome, and showed me the treehouse and bathroom area, explaining all the various bits and pieces. It was wonderful to stay somewhere so unique and I recommend to anyone travelling solo.. Wendy provided extensive snacks and drinks for my stay, which was very welcomed for a 6am departure.. if ever I'm in the area again I will be back to stay 😊

Got to Michael’s Airbnb Good Friday, a little early, &, following a quick call to Michael, we were ok’d to check in, which was great! Place is set between a cafe and garden centre, on a busy main road but is so peaceful, you honestly would think it was in the middle of nowhere! The cottage was clean and inviting! Scones, jam and clotted cream waiting for us on the kitchen counter! Lovely touch ❤️ Both the forecourt and the rear gardens were beautiful and well maintained, all adding to the tranquility of the place. We used Uber to get us in and out of York as (1) we didn’t fancy driving and (2) we didn’t fancy taking our lives in our hands crossing the A64 to the bus stop🤣Uber cost around £8 per trip. Michael was a great host- from initial greeting when we booked right the way through to checking out! We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Rosemary Cottage for a stay- a lovely, cozy, clean, peaceful place within easy reach of York city centre!

Beautiful and private place, decorated very tastefully and felt very peaceful. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming with their communication, even leaving us some delicious home-made cake which was truly thoughtful and very much appreciated! Has lots of nice little details to make things cosy and useful, like lots of mirrors (to help with doing make-up and dressing for a night out) and places to hang up clothes, lots of light and lighting, and the free ample parking was really helpful too. Was an easy 50 minute walk into York city centre and the main road has lots of high quality cafes and pubs etc worth popping into for brunch and drinks. All in all a 5 star stay and the hosts were really welcoming and thoughtful.

Stayed in Linda’s cottage for four nights to escape our house renovation! The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with lots of little extra touches with fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen essentials and toiletries. Linda was super responsive and helpful throughout and easily contactable. Only a 10 min drive from York city centre but the cottage was so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Linda 😊
