The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms also have enclosed private outdoor patios. All rooms enjoy outdoor entrances, ceiling fans and unshared HVAC systems. Available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes. Some of the rooms are “dog friendly” with a $35 per dog per night charge

Welcome to Willow House! We are a 12 Casita Desert Retreat on 250 acres of private land with unobstructed views of the Chisos Mountain Range. Our property is 6 miles from The Big Bend National Park and 3 miles from the center of the Terlingua Ghost Town. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens.
