The Waffle House: Historic Full Downtown Apartment

The apartment is called Waffle House because it was the home of Waffle House founder Joe Rogers. The space is a full apartment with kitchen, laundry, living room, bathroom and bedroom with a separate entrance. Located on W Deaderick it’s just a short walk to Restaurants , Farmer's Market, and Hub City Brewing. I am the brewmaster at Hub City Brewing & Rock’n Dough Pizza + Brewery, and my wife works for Hitachi Energy. We live in the downstairs unit so are nearby if there is anything you need.

My wonderful husband Jeremy and I bought 130 acres a few years back and is what we call “our farm” we have had countless picnics and bonfires, Just dreaming of doing something special on our land one day. Located just across the lane from Reelfoot lake . Public ramp about 3/4 of mile away with several more close by. Enjoy lake views from the covered front porch. Living room with dish tv and internet. Full kitchen with cookware. Separate 20x20 garage for boat storage and a fish/duck cleaning house. Close to local restaurants and stores. 1 bedroom with queen bed , 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and a sofa sleeper. Can sleep 4 to 5 people. Pet friendly. There is additional sleeping space for 2 on the queen sectional/sofa bed and 1-2 more on the futon in the dressing room! Rosie's has 1 full bathroom, but an additional spacious dressing room with lots of mirrors and more. Rosie's has a full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. There is a grill, large fire pit, and plenty of comfy Adirondack chairs for hanging out!

Step back to a gentler time in this pre-civil war shotgun house in the historic Casey Jones Village. A perfect getaway spot for couples for their honeymoon or anniversary or people wanting to get away for a spiritual retreat. Pearl House is complete with a claw foot tub, a huge shower and his and her robes. There are some wonderful books to read at Pearl, many about history and a great collection of cookbooks. It features a complete kitchen, washer and dryer; all the modern amenities.

This two bedroom, newly renovated 1950’s home exhibits historic midtown charm paired with modern style. Our quiet, dead-end street offers the space to get away, while being conveniently located ½ a mile from the Hospital and right around the corner from the local shops and restaurants of downtown Jackson.
