The farm is ideally situated for you to explore the beautiful East Devon countryside, less than 5 minutes from the A30, and only 25 minutes drive from the coast. Your well appointed private studio flat includes a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, sofa, TV and kitchenette. It has been recently refurbished, with new furniture. Breakfast can be served to you in the flat, for a little extra, available on request.

The Old Workshop @ Swallows is an extended single storey barn dating back to the 1880’s. It has been sympathetically renovated to bring it up to 21st century standards with electricity generated using our solar panels. The Old Workshop is situated within an AONB and is tucked away in the courtyard of our barns.

And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

North Barn on the banks of the River Dart

North Barn is an 18th century stone building, bursting with character, set on the banks of the River Dart. Originally a corn collection point, North Barn has been renovated to a beautiful, romantic ‘one-room-living’ self-catering space. The atmosphere is fresh and light, with skylights that make even the dullest of days seem bright. The patio doors open up on to a large deck area overlooking the river from an elevated height thus giving you great views across the River Dart.

Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm.
