We had a fantastic stay at Maarten’s place. It was perfect to attend The Tour of Flanders and to explore the area. The loft was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you need. There were some great local cafes/bars within walking distance too. Maarten and his family were wonderful hosts, thank you for having us and hopefully we will be back one day!

Jennifer was very thoughtful and communicative. Since I was visiting end of September she made sure that I was warm enough; offering me more blankets and even moving me to warmer room. Their home is beautifully decorated and close to the train station (about a 7-10 minute walk.) I enjoyed staying there as it was a quiet, safe place to come back to but still very close to the train station and the main center of Brussels; so, it was easy to explore Brussels and the rest of Belgium

This apartment is in the absolute perfect location for exploring Gent. The space is huge and has gorgeous views. We had a wonderful time. There is a 6 Euro per person per night City tax that needs to be paid before arrival outside of the app and you need to have what's app for communication, but as long as those items are acceptable, the unit is lovely. What a fantastic stay we had in Dirk’s place, the accommodation has everything you need and is spacious, stylish and comfortable throughout. The balcony in particular and the view to the belfry and Sint-Baafs Cathedral is stunning. Regards the bells, we thought they were beautiful, the belfry playing a melody every 15 mins. One day they started at 7:30am, but every other day we’re sure it was 8am! We don’t remember what time they stopped tolling however, we were having too much fun in the city to notice! Others have mentioned a lack of privacy in the bathroom, but there is a vanity screen you can pull down to block the view of the toilet from the rest of the bathroom, which was appreciated, and the set-up worked well for us. All in all, Dirk’s place is the perfect option for a couple wanting to explore Gent, and we sorely hope to return one day! Many thanks to Dirk, Javier and Nayibe, communication was excellent and prompt before and throughout our stay. Dank u wel, tot ziens!

Ben was a top host, nice and communicative. The place was neat, large and had nice light. The location was also top, central but still in a side street so it was not busy on the street. Would recommend it!

Anne is a friendly and attentive hostess. Her guesthouse is a paradise in Beersel for those who like to stay in an authentic room in a unique location, and for those who love peace and nature. Recommended!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Ann had thought of absolutely everything. Every detail was so well-considered, making us feel instantly at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and flooded with natural light when you wanted it to be—but also warm and cozy when needed. The layout is smart and spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommended!

We really loved staying here. We were a party of 3, and we luckily ran into one of the co-hosts when we arrived. He promptly explained (in French) where everything is and opened the door for us. The language wasn't an issue because I speak a bit of French and used a translation app for everything else I needed to know on the spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the apartment. Everything smelled fresh and clean, it was a really nice space. The hosts live upstairs, so this is something you should take into consideration if you decide to stay here. We didn't mind, as they did not disrupt us in any way (it was actually helpful that they were there!). The area is quiet, but it's quite far from the city centre. We chose this place specifically as it was close to the Forest Arena, and we wanted to attend a concert there. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and we recommend this place wholeheartedly. The hosts are really nice and were fast to answer any requests we had.

Great place! Quiet, relaxing and very clean.

For our team building (group of 7) this was an excellent property! Beautiful open, large spaces, excellent showers, plenty of towels, a very well equipped kitchen and good beds ( single bed less). Only downside; difficult to find the right light switch and some mood lights don't work... We very much enjoyed this property and would definitely return with a group!

Lovely apartment (my wife loved the plants!), well placed to visit both Ghent and other places in Belgium. Dieter was a responsive host when we needed him. Loved the area that the apartment was sited in, with all of the redeveloped industrial sites. Would definitely stay again!
