Kid-friendly holiday rentals in East Jutland

We (a family of four with kids 8 and 10) spent ten days at Maia's Airbnb. The house and garden are very peaceful and welcoming, styled beautifully. Our kids loved the cats and chickens. The house is very close to the train station, very convenient for traveling to Copenhagen or other places. The trains are very quiet and we rarely heard them. There are grocery shops nearby and a park with a playground. Unfortunately, the coffee shop and some of the restaurants were closed for the month of July. The main bedroom is located on the ground floor, the other three upstairs. Communication with Maia and Christian was easy and pleasant and they left us a nice brochure with a lot of information for everything we needed to know about our stay.

well located place, easy to access, well equipped place like a an equipped kitchen. It has a nice garden ( Dansk : have), Yaov communicates very well and helpful.

Jeanette var en veldig kjekk vert, enkelt å kommunisere med. Plassen var nydelig og i rolige omgivelser med en lekeplass ikke så langt borten for. Perfekt både for familier eller et par som bare vil nyte fine Ry. Vi var å besøkte Himmelbjerget som var en fin utsikt post, Fårup sommerland og Lalandia og ikke minst Århus med "The infinity bridge", vi valgte stedet for at det låg ganske i midten av alt. Anbefales absolutt! 🤩

We booked on short notice, everything went super easy.

Jan og Lærke er de herligste værter, søde, hjælpsomme og betænksomme. Huset er et hyggeligt ældre hus i meget smukke omgivelser. Selv om gæstehuset ligger i forlængelse af hovedhuset, så er der ikke noget problem ift. privatliv. Man føler, at man har stedet for sig selv, og Jan og Lærke er meget diskrete, men altid klar til en hyggelig snak.

Das Haus ist einfach traumhaft - direkt am Strand, man hört das Meer und die Brandung beim Einschlafen, kann endlos spazierengehen und das Haus ist auch bei grauem Wetter sehr gemütlich mit Kamin und Fußbodenheizung. Bei Sonnenschein und Windstille kann man die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten draussen nutzen und hat die Möglichkeit zum SUP mit den beiden Boards. Einfach großartig für eine echte Auszeit! Auch die Kinder fanden die Rückzugsmöglichkeit auf die Hochebene toll - auch von dort kann man aufs Meer gucken...Danke, Ole für die tolle Gastfreundschaft - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen hoffentlich mal wieder!

9 of us stayed at Alisha’s beautiful home for 3 nights. We found it very spacious. The children loved playing with the available toys/lego and particularly enjoyed the swing and trampoline in the garden. The neighbourhood was very quiet and within walking distance to the bus stop and supermarket. The house had everything we needed and plenty towels and spare toilet roll in the shower room. The kitchen was well equipped with enough cutlery, mugs, plates etc. Both Alisha and husband, Rob, were very accommodating and responsive, answering any queries we had. The only negative was there were no locks on the toilet doors, however, this was not a major issue. I would recommend staying here, we had a great visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Thor's house! It was perfect for our family of five, with a cozy living room and a spacious garden with a lovely terrace. The surrounding area is lovely, with rolling hills, forests, and lakes—ideal for cycling tours. Next time, I might bring my bike to explore more of this beautiful region. We also took a day trip to Copenhagen, which was super easy to reach by train in about 40 minutes. It made for a relaxed and enjoyable day in the city with the family. Thor's place is definitely one we'll keep in mind for future trips!

Wir hatten tolle 2 Wochen! Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Ausgangslage um die nähere Umgebung und viele tolle Orte zu besuchen- mit dem Auto ist man super schnell an allen möglichen Zielen, ob Billund oder Rømø. Felix hatte auch immer super Tips für uns was Unternehmungen angeht. Alles ist so wie beschrieben. Wir kommen wieder :)

Ich war mit meinen beiden Töchtern von Donnerstag bis Sonntag in Aarhus. Marias Appartement haben wir nach einem schnellen Check - in genau so vorgefunden , wie es beschrieben war , hell und gepflegt . In der Küche ist alles an seinem Platz gewesen - es hat an nichts gefehlt . Die Unternehmungen konnten wir mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß machen , sodass wir das Auto nicht brauchten . Ich kann Maria‘s Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen .

Appartamento ampio e luminoso in pieno centro. Arredato con gusto, fornito di tutto il necessario e anche di più. Più che consigliabile!

Super dejlig lejlighed i det hyggeligste kvarter i Århus. Rent, hjemligt og meget charmerende indretning - med gulvvarme. Gåafstand til alt, samtidig med at kvarteret er meget stille. Tæt på David Breadhead så den gode morgenmad var sikret. Sune er en meget i mødekommende vært. Vi havde en god weekend i Århus med familien.

Wir hatten schöne Tage in der bezaubernden Wohnung von Mette. Die Fotos geben die Wohnung gut wieder. Alles ist qualitativ sehr gut eingerichtet, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles, was man braucht ist um die Ecke und das Viertel einfach das schönste in Aarhus. Mette ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer erreichbar und sehr zugewandt. Wir können die Wohnung nur zu 100% empfehlen!

Schöne Wohnung, ganz individuell und gemütlich, schöner Balkon in den grünen Innenhof mitSpiielmöglichkeiten für Kinder, schnelle und tolle Kommunikation mit Gry, Umgebung ist ruhig, viele Restaurants, Supermärkte und Wochenmarkt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

The apartment is a great choice for short and long stays in Roskilde. It passes good for families cause has a lot of space also everything is set for remote work. It is also really nice place to stay for city exploration - all POIs are in close proximity. I highly recommend the Rikke Apartment.

Very friendly host and peaceful neighbourhood. Everything is nearby. Very beautiful apartment and clean. We will happily be back again :)!

Wir kennen Aarhus und Aarhus O ganz gut, daher was das Appartement genau richtig für uns! Dir Wohnung selbst ist top ausgestattet und hat einen schönen Balkon! Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

We had a great stay in Thomas‘s apartment. The location is perfect, many things are within walking distance and we had the possibility to park our bikes in the backyard. The apartment is well equipped, clean and the communication with Thomas was very pleasant. The many pictures on the wall, the books and the board games made it very personal. Thank you very much, Thomas!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Lona und Henrik. Das Haus war sehr gut zu finden, der Check-in lief flexibel und problemlos. Die Lage ist super, die Straße selbst ist eher ruhig, aber man kann trotzdem alles zu Fuß erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche hatte auch alles, was man braucht. Zu zweit hatten wir absolut genug Platz. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The apartment actually looks bigger than in the pictures. We had everything we needed for our four nights stay. The garden was also nice, our kids were using the trampoline quite often. Everything was perfect but if I have to nitpick the mattress in the bedroom was quite too soft for our liking.

We had a great stay at Janes apartment. It was very clean, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Communication was super easy and Jane was ready to help anytime.

Mit 5 Personen hatten wir einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub im Aarhus. Die sensationelle Lage der zweckmäßig und modern eingerichteten Wohnung mit einer tollen Aussicht aufs Meer hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir trotz des schlechten Wetters einen gelungenen Aufenthalt in dieser sehr schönen Stadt hatten. Jeder €, den wir für die Miete der Wohnung mit dem kostenfreien Tiefgaragenparkplatz entrichtet haben, war es wert. Gute Restaurants und Bars, die Altstadt sowie das Hafenbad mit öffentlicher Sauna sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Top Lage in ruhiger Gegend. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar, auch der Bahnhof. Super Ausstattung, auch die Küche zum Kochen. Flexibilität beim Check-out hat sehr geholfen. Vielen Dank für die Unterkunft und Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
