We received a 5-star service at this place. The apartment is spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped, beds are very comfortable, it even has a private secluded balcony and the entire place was run like a professional service. Check-in instructions were detailed and clear, so was the information provided for everything about the place including things to do in the local area. Responses can be a little delayed at times, but the host is very helpful and our issues were always resolved the same day. I would highly recommend this place for both short and long stays.

We love the Southbourne area and have stayed in a number of properties in the area over the years. This has to be the best one in terms of location, spaciousness and quality and range of equipment at the property. The lounge diner is nice and airy, big comfy sofa and chair and smart TV. The kitchen had lots of plates, mugs, glasses etc and lots of pans and utensils. Everything we needed was there. There was a nice welcome hamper with bread, milk, juice, biscuits etc. Bedrooms were bright and airy with comfy beds. Lovely shower in the en-suite! The apartment is close to Fisherman’s Walk, where you can walk down to the beach and promenade. There’s absolutely tonnes to do in the area, which is why we keep coming back, you’re definitely able to find something to suit everyone’s interests, young or old. And then there’s the Lazy Spa and outside area to enjoy after a long day exploring. Thanks Jemma, we had a great stay and would love to stay here again next time!

I expected nothing less from Hazel! Cozy neat apartment with immediate supplies for your first morning. Fully equipped kitchen and an en-suite shower room made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend a visit.

Easily found just off the Main Street this cosy but spacious apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need. The hosts communication was great. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Huge space, duplex home across two floors with large bedrooms, lounge and superb kitchen. Value for money was excellent considering it’s in the heart of Old Portsmouth. Perfect location!

From the booking to leaving, the process was so easy. The house was amazing, perfect for our family stay away for a wedding and it felt like home from home. The welcome pack was very well received and a very welcome visit from Mark to check everything was OK for us. It's these personal touches which makes Mark an outstanding host. If ever we need to stay somewhere in the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again

A clean house, good size garden, close to Hartland country park where dogs are also allowed- we had a great long walk, not crowded on Bank Holiday.

booked Dave & Emma's place for my husbands 60th birthday weekend. there was 12 of us, all family with 3 children amongst the group with the youngest being 4 years old. the accommodation had everything you could wish for with the kids and adults alike all making use of the games room, bikes and kayakes. the park and beach were literally opposite the house, so was a great location and the weather was brilliant. we also made use of the hot tub, which was very popular.

The house was immaculately clean. All the equipment and furnishings were really well looked after and of good quality. Lovely bedding etc. There was plenty of ‘nice to haves’ such as lots of games, water sports equipment and bits and bobs in the kitchen. Would recommend as a base for a large family or two medium sized families away together. We were a group of 12 women celebrating and we all had comfortable accommodation. The garden was really peaceful and pleasant - we had our lunch one day on the patio. It’s a great location for very easy access to the beach and some lovely walks.

Family of 8 adults stayed for 4 nights and there was plenty of space, 4 lovely bedrooms and 2 modern well equipped bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The outdoor spaces were simply amazing, out the back straight on to the beach, and out the front was seating area, hot tub and table tennis. The games room with darts, pool and arcade games were a great hit. Great walking and nature right out the front door. I can’t recommended this house enough.

Had a great 4 days (weather helped). House had everything we needed (although blackout blinds in bedroom needed). Small back garden, but coastal clifftop path just around the corner, so it didn't bother us or our dog. House is between Shanklin and Sandown and it's easy to walk to either along the coastal path. The house is in a quiet area, it was modern and clean. We would definitely like to come back.

Excellent host. Very responsive and well worth the price. I asked for an earlier checkin and they were more than happy to accommodate. There was scaffolding up around the building, but we were aware of this before and it didn't block the sea view. I would definitely recommend.

This apartment was exactly as described. It had a beautiful view of the river. Bed was comfortable and the apartment was immaculate. Ted was very responsive to questions and was readily available to help if needed. We would definitely stay at Ted’s beautiful apartment again if we ever return to Southampton!

Steven's apartment was truly great and as described. There was everything you needed for a home meal, and instructions were perfectly clear, which made our arrival and check out hassle free. Overall spotlessly clean. The location was a plus! Would definitely book again! :)

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 4 with a teenager and 10 year old. The communication prior to our arrival was very clear and timely. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location, just minutes from the beach. We kept commenting throughout that David and Liz have considered absolutely everything their guests would need and require during the stay. It was spotless and very well kept, we will certainly be back!

We had a really enjoyable mini break. The flat was ideal for us and we loved the way it was decorated and furnished. Thank you to Andreas for being a wonderful host.

Sonya is incredibly responsive with communication and flexible with our check in times. Her flat is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. It’s to a great standard. The immediate surroundings of the flat are a little questionable but in prime location to parks, restaurants, and the beach. It can feel hot inside the flat on summer days but the large floor to ceiling French doors onto the terrace and provided fan at the property offer sufficient cooling. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again. Sonya and her property have been great to our family (2 adults, 2 teens) while we are on our holidays!
