Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Beautiful well located country house (No party's)

Detached house in a central location in Purmerend.(No Party's) Located on the border of beautiful Kwadijk, surrounded by nature. A wonderful place with many beautiful cycling routes and a river is near the house. There are several beautiful places in the area that are easy to reach, such as Amsterdam, Volendam, Monnikendam and De Beemster. At the house you can park easily. A 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest bus stop. From here you can easily travel to, for example, Amsterdam.

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

Meeuwen Manor - A treasure near Amsterdam

This is your chance to stay in The Meeuwen Manor (Meeuwen means gulls in Dutch), the most spectacular and best known house of the historic town of Edam, overlooking the Markermeer lake and next to Fort Edam, an UNESCO protected fortress and nature reserve. Meeuwen Manor, an 18th century house that was converted to its current unique state around 1910, is located only 22 kilometers from the centre of Amsterdam and offers a wonderful and stylish room with access to an amazing garden.

Along the Beemsterdijk in a rural location, a short distance from Purmerend, we offer two double rooms. A central space with the possibility of tea, coffee and, if desired, breakfast. Everything is on the ground floor. Through the French doors, you walk onto your own terrace. Near Fort Wellness Resort Beemster (5 km), Amsterdam (20 km), Zaanse Schans (15 km), Volendam (10 km), Graft/de Rijp (10 km), the IJsselmeer or North Sea coast. We like to share our love for the outdoors.

Oosthuizen Studio, for short and longer stays.

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 meters, overlooking the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus takes 40 minutes to get there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so that you can use all public transport (26/33 euros)
