In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

From your chalet at the "Keizerskroon" park, you can immediately go into nature for hiking, biking and mountain biking. There are no amenities in the park, but there are plenty of options nearby. Such as: Enjoy a cozy terrace in e.g. Borger, Rolde and Grolloo (bleus city), various open-air museums, Westerbork memorial center, or WILDLANDS in Emmen. Close to the Boomkroonpad, the beautiful swimming lake the Nije Hemelriek and climbing park "Joy Time". A little further away: Drouwenerzand amusement park.

In the area, you will find the possibility for many activities such as nature, hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, golf, horseback riding, museum visits, shopping and hospitality visits, cities, cycling and mini golf. Welkom in het bosrijke Exloo, gelegen op de Hondsrug in Drenthe. Wij wonen zelf in het monumentale treinstation van Exloo uit 1903, aan de NOLS spoorlijn, van Zwolle tot Delfzijl. deze spoorlijn is opgericht in 1899 en opgeheven in 1945. Deze spoorlijn is nu een mooi wandelpad! Naast ons huis staat een geheel vrijstaande en gloednieuw gerenoveerde woning van 2 verdiepingen met genoeg privacy en eigen ingang voor max. 6 pers. Er is gratis parkeerruimte, en een eigen terras in gehele privacy.

In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Borger ligt vlakbij de bossen en heide, ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars! Verken de omgeving via diverse wandelroutes zoals het Pieterpad en het Drenthepad. Voor wandelaars is er vervoer beschikbaar. Op loopafstand vind je ook het Hunebed Museum, dat een bezoek zeker waard is.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

You will enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a second bedroom with a bunk bed, a toilet and a modern bathroom. In addition, the house is only 3.5 km from the charming village of Borger with many restaurants!

The chalet can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. It is a cozy place to enjoy the beautiful Drenthe together!

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.
