Holiday rentals in Eggleston

Had a great and comfortable stay. We were in town for races at the nearby Martinsville Speedway. Location is secluded and quiet. House was clean and orderly.

Great place! Quiet, peaceful, and a nice base camp for exploring the Roanoke area. We had a wonderful timw, and the host was quick to respond to questions (mainly asking about background of the cabin and area). No issues, wonderful place! Highly recommend it!

Very comfortable stay super close to Cave Spring. We had everything we needed and loved being able to spread out and have the fenced in yard for our dog. Rhonda was extremely proactive with instructions.

We stayed at Peter’s place for a night and would definitely go back! The cabin is made with love, as a lot of the furniture is handmade. The place had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, and was very peaceful despite being so close to a highway. Peter had also left some recommendations regarding hiking trails around the area. All in all, highly recommended!

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

The Mountain Escape home was just what we needed. Plenty of space clean and comfortable for all four of us and our furry friend, Puppers. The views were amazing and the fire pit on the back porch was perfect. The listing says to bring your own coffee for the french press, so we did. Unfortunately, the press was broken when we found it, but they had provided some k-cup pods and a keurig so that was ok. Cell service is pretty spotty but much to the kids' pleasure, the wifi was strong! Would love to stay here again.
