This small 40 sqm apartment on the ground floor is ideally suited for two people. On request, three people can stay here. The third person can sleep in the alcove under the stairs. The bedroom can be closed by a door. Above this sea-like apartment is the Nordstrandnixe über Land.

The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.

The Selker Noor with its own swimming area is only 3.4 km away, and the Viking village of Haitabu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also very close, as are Gottorf Castle, Schleswig Cathedral and the harbor. It is also only 20 km to Eckernförde Bay!

Living on the estate

Outside of Kiels, the Marutendorf estate is located in the middle of the Westensee Nature Park. We can accommodate 2-16 people in 4 (website hidden) on the first floor of the former horse stable with direct access to the farm's own lake. Our cosy apartment is located in the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. The Baltic Sea (9 km), Lake Wittensee (7 km), Lake Bistensee (6.5 km) and the Schlei (8 km) are not far away. The cities of Eckernförde, Schleswig and Rendsburg can be reached in 6 - 20 minutes by car.
