Lovely peaceful setting and comfortable cottage. I hurt my back and electric blanket was a bonus. Seonaid was so helpful providing medicines and heat packs. CD player didn’t work but great wee radio with good local station. Disappointed it was in the shade after about 11 but setting was lovely and we could drive out and explore easily. Lovely little shepherds hut, very cosy and had everything you need. It’s incredible how they managed to fit everything in that small space. Since the hosts are just next door, there are some tasty eggs for sale which you can see where they’re from right from the garden area. It’s a very big garden space with a little balcony to eat and drink outside in. You don’t get much time for a shower but that was fine for myself and my partner, however that might not suit everyone. The only thing I’d recommend that may be helpful for the next guests is to have an extra tea towel on hand. There isn’t anywhere to air dry plates and cups so you have to hand dry them by hand straight away and the towel doesn’t always dry in time for when you next need to use it. Other than that great stay, thank you for having us.

My first ever Airbnb booking, made initially because the owner of the only catered accommodation on the island double booked me, ended up being just what I wanted / needed! A really quirky place to stay that was precisely as described and had everything I needed, and in a much better location on the island than the B&B would have been. I dealt with Sarah, Alex & Lizzie’s daughter, who was absolutely lovely, and so helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - or any others operated by these hosts.

equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.
