Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. The cabina is situated overlooking a valley in the peaceful countryside near Rincón de la vieja volcano. The cabina was comfy and had everything we needed. We loved mornings on the farm when we ate delicious breakfasts with the thoughtful hosts while watching the chickens and sheep. We had the best time here and didn’t want to leave.

Super clean house, well located if you want to go to the fall of Léona or Rincon de la vieja park and 20 mins by car from Liberia. They're super responsive. I highly recommend it.

This rental exceeded our expectations for our first trip to Costa Rica! Close to the beach and a short walk to downtown. Julie and Francisco went above and beyond and ensured everything was smooth and as described. I can’t say enough great things about the whole experience! We will be back!
