Villa holiday rentals in El Hierro

It was the perfect place for our vacation. The villa is beautiful, as shown in the photos, and is equipped with everything you need to spend a comfortable stay. It has a private pool. It's a perfect size to cool off on hot days and has a sun lounger area for sunbathing. The location of the villa, the full Golfo, is also dreamy.

Great stay at this villa in Frontera. The experience is true to the photos. The house is spacious so that everyone can have their space inside and also outside given the number of terrace areas! The BBQ area is also super nice to end the day with a meal all together, with the kitchen right next door which makes it easy to prepare. The front view is really breathtaking and we observe both the landscape and what happens in the valley, without having so much noise disturbances. We could have feared being woken up by nearby dogs, but the whole environment is very peaceful. We stayed there in February and the weather was very pleasant and the small town of Frontera finally offers quite a few options to eat and shop there, comparing it with the other villages on the island. Fontera is also well located being in the middle of the island to visit both the north or south of El Hierro. A nice option.

Villamocanes did not disappoint. The photos do not do it justice - the house and garden are better than the photos. All the details were taken care of - you had everything you needed in the kitchen, bathroom and outside. The swimming pool is fantastic and you get to see lots of wildlife with different birds - including kestrels. David was a great host and gave us good local recommendations. You can walk to several bars and restaurants and a supermarket. We would definitely stay again.

One of the most magical places I have ever stayed. I felt safe, calm & slept so well. I adored the beautiful & carefully curated home, inside and out. A very practical & stylish home with so much magic & beauty. A very comfortable bed and I adored the daily ritual of making & clearing the fire. I discovered new things everyday & totally fell in love with pine trees. I liked the quick accessibility to Pinar for supplies (especially the brilliant butcher) & also another short distance to Tacarón for sun & swimming. The rest of the island is also easy to discover with a car although I loved to luxuriate my mornings in El Borque with yoga, watching sunrise or just hanging in a hammock reading or staring at the pine trees & listening to their rustling. It is a real retreat & I enjoyed being on my own with the choice of a town or an adventure down the road. I loved the history of El Borque & the family recommendations. I hope to return alone and/or with company. Thank you El Borque!
