Family-friendly holiday rentals in El Sargento

From before we arrived Barbara and Manilo were easy and quickly communicative! Gave us easy to find directions and even accommodated us with our early arrival by offering to hold our groceries and directing us to the beach club! The beach club and pool were both amazing! Honestly worth the stay for that alone. The house was cleaned daily and was a short 10-15 minute drive to Malecón/downtown area! WiFi was great quality and honestly we would not hesitate to rebook the same stay in our next trip to La Paz! If you’re considering saving a bit and doing a hotel instead, don’t and book this airbnb you won’t be disappointed! Thank you both for allowing us the most amazing stay!

We were looking for a place close enough to walk to coffee, groceries, and restaurants, but far enough away from the noise of the Main Street in La Ventana, and this was perfect. The house sits up on the hill so sunrises are gorgeous and the neighborhood is quiet. The house had everything we needed, including a vitamix! Our favorite part of the property is the backyard oasis which was shaded so very comfortable even in the heat of the day. We were in La Ventana for wind sports and found the location ideal because we were an easy drive to Rasta or La Tuna beaches in one direction, and equally easy drive to Playa Central in the other. Another bonus to the location - it's right up the hill from the farmers market! We plan to stay here again.

Even better than the photos! Bob and Sheila curated a beautiful space. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and would absolutely stay here again. Thanks to good construction, the place is super quiet despite being near the main road. The kitchen is to die for. Gas stovetop and quality appliances and knives made cooking here a joy. The perfect location to stay at for a wind sports vacation. I stayed here on a kitesurfing trip. 2 minute walk to one of the more popular launch spots. An additional outdoor shower (heated!!) and secure gear closet made post kiting cleanup and gear packing super easy.

Great location and a very well designed and decorated home! Hosts are very warm and friendly with tons of helpful information. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Both hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. We loved the view, condo and had everything anyone would need to live there including beach chairs and umbrellas. If we were going back to la paz, this would be our first choice to rent again. I can not say enough great things about the hosts, condo, location, and town!

We had a great stay at Casa Alas Ventana. The house was spacious and had a good layout. We enjoyed coffee on the patio and time in the hot tub after being on the water. The location was convenient and the area for gear storage was awesome. We would recommend the house to others.

Ben's home was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was ideal for our family and we really enjoyed all the restaurants and amenities that Puerto Cortes offered. We had a few questions for Ben during the trip and he was very responsive and helpful.

Great location. Kids loved the golf cart. We had the Las Colinas pool to ourselves the few times we were there. Costa Baja Resort was beautiful. Happy with the three different restaurants we ate at in Costa Baja. Little grocer was convenient. Baja Adventure Company and Doce Cuarenta we’re both convenient. Short drive to Balandra. House had everything we could have needed. Wouldn’t change a thing. Very quiet despite being Holy Week.

We had a wonderful stay at Maximilianos place! There were 8 adults and 3 kids and we all had enough room. The pool was such a great place to hang. The whole property is beautiful and surrounded by a really well kept garden. The nature is amazing and great food close by. We had Olga the chef (recommended by Maximiliano) come and cook for us and she was incredible! We miss Baja already.

Very nice quiet stay. The view of the room is very nice, the pool if it is small, we needed a hair dryer and soap and shampoo separately, we liked that there were bottles to prepare drinks, equipped kitchen and sunblock.
