Fernando is a great host, always welcoming and helpful. You stayed a week, and had a lovely stay. Apartment is spacious, with a nice bed, good internet. Slightly spartan equipment in the kitchen, but it was possible to cook. We highly recommend staying with Fernando and visiting the town of Santa Catarina Baharona, where buses go to Antigua every half hour.

Luis’ place is an absolute hidden gem! A very rustic but charming house. The house is close to where the Sumpango kite festival is held so it was great location wise for the festival. Just a heads up there is no WiFi or tv (which was fine with me). There is a beautiful and large yard to enjoy! Ahbram is the groundskeeper and was very kind and responsive. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Diana's house is like being at home. very nice, detailed and safe. you can walk to Paseo andaria. Diana is very friendly and helpful.
