Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Elgin County

Incredible host. The house was the cutest thing and we felt cozy all the time there. She helped us through all the process and was always available when we needed. The city is also gorgeous. We definitely want to come back in the future to relive this incredible experience.

there where 7 of us ranging from 14 years to 65. something for all of us to do and enjoy the home. and plenty of entertainment close by to enjoy as well. the time flew by too fast.

Tyler & Chelsea were extremely communicative & pro-active. They checked-in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed & were enjoying our stay. Fantastic hosts all around! The cottage is cozy, a short walk to downtown, the beach and everything Port Stanley has to offer. Plenty of space for a family and a lovely backyard. 10/10.

We booked this Airbnb for a cozy, bookish girls’ weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect! The home had a cheerful, modern boho-chic vibe with fun pops of pink, rustic touches, and thoughtful design throughout. We spent the weekend around the fireplace, sipping wine, making charcuterie boards, and playing old records on the vintage player—it felt like our own little dinner party retreat. Even though the weather was rainy and cold, the outdoor amenities like the hot tub, fireplace, sunroom, and balcony looked amazing and would be perfect in the summer. The house had tons of character, was very clean, and the host went above and beyond—leaving us a bottle of wine and being super responsive to all our messages. We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it for a memory-making girls’ weekend!

We stayed for 3 nights for birding at Rondeau. Brenda' s place is well located for birders. The bed is comfortable, there is plenty of hot water, and the washer/dryer are a great addition. In Airbnbs, we always get confused about which switch controls which light. Brenda has them labeled ! Next time we're birding in Rondeau, we'll be back !

Had an amazing weekend staying here for the weekend. Place some super clean, had everything you needed and perfect walking distance to the beach and local restaurants

perfect spot for a moms weekend away. spent a day at nordic wave spa and this place was 10 min drive from there. our group had everything we could possibly need and everything worked properly. hot tub was a great bonus. furniture and beds were comfy and bedding was good quality. a super cozy spot all around. Will definitely be renting this spot again. thanks again Larry and Peggy.

We had an incredible stay in Port Stanley! The place is newly renovated with thoughtful design and beautiful decor—plus the views are absolutely stunning. Sue was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a five-star experience, you’ll find it in this gem. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Ferncliff Gardens lake-view property! The view was absolutely serene, and we loved spending our evenings by the BBQ, soaking it all in. The book and board collection was a thoughtful touch—perfect for relaxing downtime. Communication with the hosts was seamless throughout, and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

what an absolutely spectacular retreat. Lisa and Mike were incredible hosts. The surroundings were tranquil and inviting. One of the best Air B&B's that I have stayed at.

Can’t recommend this little spot enough! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. The apartment was very cute and spotlessly clean. Location was incredible only a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and bars. Such a comfortable and relaxing place!

The Homestead was a fabulous experience, Carlos generously shared his innovative methods for off-the-grid living, from his chicken flock to his unique energy storage techniques. He is engaging and a true gentleman.

Loved our stay! Amazing pond and so many wonderful birds. The cabin was super cozy and we had a peaceful time! Would definitely stay again!

Our trip to Vienna, Ontario, was a wonderful experience. We stayed at an Airbnb called Windy Hills, which is a beautiful log cabin with our own entrance on the upper level. The walls inside are entirely covered in wood, giving it a cozy atmosphere. While there wasn't a kitchen, we were provided with a mini fridge and a microwave. Additionally, there was no TV, which allowed us to enjoy some quality time together without distractions. We visited some horses with the hosts, Doug and Conny, relaxed in the hot tub, and played board games. It was a much-needed getaway from home and work.

Lovely host who is as lovely as the place! The little town is adorable, with a lake view and kind locals.

We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing week at the cottage. Local amenities, including the beach, are only a quick walk away. The outdoor space was as great as the indoor space. Would rent again!
