Tulloch is set in the heart of the Braes o’ Lochaber. With so many ways to spend your day here, you can make your holiday as active or as peaceful as you wish. The estate is 175 acres and is available for you to wander over as you will, or just to protect you from the pressures of the outside world. The land is nestled in a glen, full of fresh Scottish air and comprises of woods and meadows, pasture and pond. The magnificent River Spean, with the Inverlair Falls, is a backdrop to it all.

The Tent on Beaver Pond

We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.

Forest Glamping

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in a large canvas bell tent with a real, full size bed. Tucked into the woods, just a short distance from Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail. The shared modern bath house is a short walk from the site with running potable water and a shower. The property is off grid (no electricity) which means excellent star gazing! Linens are provided. The site also has a fire pit with seating for relaxing. See “other details to note”

Glamp Richard on Pretty Hobby Farm

At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has a king-size water bed, sofa and private deck. Each tent has a kitchenette in the Lodge. There is a lovely Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights in the summer) and our wood hot tub ($25 for a private experience). 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Nightly bonfires, star gazing, a nearby lake and rafting in the Hudson River below.

You will enjoy a 5 min nature walk to find your private Glamp Site waiting for you with everything you need. Bring your love of nature and personal items. Emperor bell tent

All our Emperor Bell Tents are raised off the ground on timber stands. Each tent has a double Mexican pine bed as standard, matching furnishings, semi-orthopedic mattress, bean bags, bed linen, and towels. Additional fold out beds with bed linen can be included on request. At night the tents are lit up inside by our tea light candle chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns, and outside by solar lights. Accommodates between 2 to 5 persons.

It is off-grid with a 12 volt power system and propane appliances. You have your own outdoor shower and outhouse. The town of Westport is 5 minutes away and Perth is 20. Pets are welcome.

Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There is a private composting toilet next to your tent.
