The house is adjacent to former cross-county skiing trails that are used as hiking trails. You can easily make a short drive to Lake Placid & Whiteface for skiing. Keene with many hiking trails is 20 minutes away; many hiking trails are within 3-5 minutes drive (Rocky Peak, Hurricane, Baxter).

Gather at the fire pit each night, wake to the sound of running water. Fully stocked: wood stove, screened porch, firewood, games, library, full kitchen. Guests call it "food for the soul." A 1900 farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Recently renovated to accommodate up to 5 guests, it is clean with simple furnishings and a SPECTACULAR VIEW! Located RIGHT ON NYS RTE 86 (close to the road) with easy access to nearby attractions. The house is split in 2 and is designed for 2 families. I rent out "The View" using airbnb exclusively. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.
