Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

Make your break simple in my calm, 2015 built, well insulated, warm holiday home, all on one level. A 5 minute walk into Dornoch with its stylish Scottish stone buildings, Cathedral, pubs, restaurants, cafes & gorgeous independent shops. Its one mile from the stunning beach and famous Royal Dornoch golf course. The house is our personal respite holiday home away from our Scottish Highlands rewilding croft 15 miles away. Dornoch has a special seaside micro climate and is always warmer than Muie!

The Stag Hut

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The beautiful Stag Hut is situated within stunning Glen Urquhart with outstanding views, walks and beautiful scenery all around. The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, it has its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Birdsong is in the peaceful woodland setting of Heatherwood Park.The chalet is nestled to the west side of the park away from the roadside with views to the west overlooking open fields, set in its own private grounds which is fully fenced and secure. The chalet is all on one level apart from 4 steps up to the front door,it has been recently renovated making it a bright airy modern space. We are situated outside the town of Dornoch about 1 mile north as you drive towards Embo.
