Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Our beautiful country house on the farm Schnurrum is a place of peace and comfort in every season in the middle of the world natural heritage Wadden Sea. Experience North German hospitality with many possibilities to spend the day here: mudflat hiking, bike tours, horseback riding and excursions e.g. to Denmark, Sylt, Föhr or the neighboring Emil Nolde Museum. But you can also do nothing at all, absorb the tranquility of the landscape, visit our sauna and let your soul dangle.

Langeness apartment directly on the lake dike

The Langeness apartment is our largest apartment, 70 m², and is located on the ground floor. The 3-room apartment is for 4+2 people. Dogs are allowed upon request. In the spacious living room there is a cozy seating area and you also have a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD radio. The fully equipped kitchen has a dining area. The apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds, wardrobes and a sofa bed. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

You will stay on a residual farm, 6 kilometers from Dagebüll, the gateway to the islands of Föhr/Amrum. The Wadden Sea is 500 m away. Around you is a Highland breed, tomcat/cat, Estragon our show horse, Ella our mare, sheep, lambs, peace or Action! All 4 seasons have their charm. In autumn/winter, when the wind blows around your ears, there is tea punch here, in spring lambs, in summer the harvest! It's not far to Denmark. Römö can be reached in 50 minutes.

Thatched Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site.
