Yurt holiday rentals in English Channel

We loved our dog friendly stay at the Fern Leaf Roundhouse and we're surprised by the amount of space inside. It was very well insulated and easy to keep warm with a great little wood burner to give us a boost when we needed it. We made good use of the hot tub outside after we got over our initial phobia of clambering in full view of the neighbouring roundhouses. We noticed a few others had some privacy screens which we assume is a work in progress. It was amazing sitting outside in hot tub at night under the stars and the hanging lights only added to this. Would love to visit again.

Pen and Patrick were amazing hosts. So kind and thoughtful and there was a great focus on attention detail. Everything was catered for and it was an excellent stay. They checked in on us throughout our stay and were super responsive to any questions or queries we had. Also they had some great recommendations for things to do in the area and it made it the perfect stay :) x

Had an absolutely lovely couple of nights at the site for New Year's. The site was peaceful and in a beautiful location. The yurt was amazing, excellent wood burner, lovely furnishings and the heated sheets were great too. Nick was very welcoming and helpful (we didnt get the chance to meet Molly), lovely chap and we made use of the table tennis and i braved a dip in the lake, which was great! Close proximity to several pubs and plenty of food options in Bridport itself too, as well as many amazing areas to visit on the Jurassic Coast. We will happily be back at some point, this has been one of the best Airbnb visits ive had, so would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. week-end reposant ce dont nous avions besoin. mes enfants ont adoré pêcher dans l'étang de Michel. A disposition également, la table de ping pong qui nous a bien plu aussi. le cadre est paisible et agréable. a proximité, possibilité de faire de belles balades. merci à Michel.

Lovely peaceful, relaxing and quiet stay at The Roundhouse that made us feel like real Hobbits! The shower was a fun experience, but not as fun as the ropeswing!

We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

Extremely beautiful and peaceful spot, very private, brilliantly equipped to be comfortable but also in keeping with its natural surroundings and nature. Lovely, responsive hosts. Worth every penny for a restorative break in idyllic countryside.

What a wonderful place!! absolutely stunning, each area is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. the yurt and beds very comfy with electric blankets. kitchen area with table and shower, outdoor bath and sauna perfect!! under shelter fire, hammocks and seating area all wonderful. connected with nature and left feeling refreshed. highly recommed staying here!!! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and sharing your lovely space with us.

Matt met us on arrival we had a great chat during our stay and just before we left, the listing doesn’t do justice to the amenities and location it was a quiet haven perfect for a relaxing break we will definitely be returning in the future. The site is due to have a few upgrades but everything you could possibly need is already on site excluding your food. Thanks again Matt for making our stay great and the warm welcome

oh this is a treasure. I wanted nature, peace and quiet, homely place to rest and relax, and this is exactly that haven. the hosts are simply wonderful - welcoming helpful friendly. so nice to chat to. the location is magical - a woody glade with apple blossom frosting and a forget me not carpet. the animals are a delight to be around: wonderful dogs, goat, piggies. I can't recommend Apple Barn Yurt enough. hope I get the chance to come back.

we had a wonderful weekend in the yurt, Francoise & her husband were very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. very accommodating & responsive hosts & a really lovely place. We are already planning a return trip!

Lovely place - quick stopover before we caught the ferry. Would come again for longer. Kids’ loved all the games, which we played at night without an iPad in site! 😃

An amazing place to stay. James was very proactive and made sure we had everything needed. It was a nice touch to have a bottle of fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. The yurt has got everything you need for a break away. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom on the side is clean and the shower is nicely hot (you really do need it when the weather fails you!). The surroundings are to kill for. I was waking up to a sunset with deers running around. Can’t ask for anything else with my morning coffee 😊 Kids and I are already planning another weekend away at the yurt.

I absolutely loved staying at Ower Farms Yurt! The incredible surroundings and Kevin's wonderful walking reccomendstions really made it for me. The Yurt and garden were totally beautiful, felt right at home and Kevin is the most lovely host. Couldn't recommend this idyllic spot any more! My dog and I will certainly be back. Just beautiful, a great location with stunning views. The Yurt had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was clean, the bed was comfy it even had a table and chairs to sit and eat. The log burner was lovely, with a big basket of logs on arrival, and £5 for a refill. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and taking in the views, with horses in the next field. The shower was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Sue was a great host and extremely caring to all our needs, such a friendly person and on hand for everything we needed. Very responsive to our messages. we will definitely be back, and try out the Shepherds hut next time. Thanks for a lovely stay, we recommend this beautiful place.

First of all, Camilla is an amazing host. Very kind, friendly, very communicative, made sure that my friend and I had everything we needed. It was such a lovely touch to find a box of fresh eggs, milk and biscuits with a lovely welcome card. The place itself was wonderful, the yurt was very cosy, the bed super comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was very warm. It's a very well thought through place with a massive beautiful garden. I only regret we stayed there one night but I feel I will be back. I don't remember last time I felt so relaxed.. Thank you once again for this beautiful experience, Camilla! ☺️🥰

We had such a great time, it's a wonderful, magical place with beautiful natur! The yurts were super comfortable and clean. There is a sauna that is a must try, it was such a great experience. Tim was a great host, so nice and helpful; we would have loved to have stayed longer in this beautiful place. Thank you Tim for making this possible for us! My son said: 'if you could give 6 stars, we would give 7!'

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurt. It’s such a lovely experience and there’s everything you need. Was wonderful to come in the spring as you can cook and eat outside to the sound of birdsong. Highly recommend.

Séjour très sympathique au bonheur nomade. Nombreuses jeux/équipements pour les enfants et parties communes bien équipées. Endroit convivial, parfait pr des nuits paisibles. Hôtes très chaleureux et prévenants.

Première expérience dans ce type de logement avec mes deux filles de 5 et 9 ans. Marie est une hôte d’une très grande bienveillance, elle a pris soin de nous allumer un feu avant même notre arrivée qui fut tardive le premier soir. Grand merci à elle, ça fait chaud au cœur. Le lieu est tout simplement magique, apaisant, ressourçant. Nous nous sommes senti dans la yourte comme dans un cocon protecteur et chaleureux (malgré les apparences d’un logis fait de bois et de tissus). La lumière y est la première invitée pour notre plus grand plaisir le jour. La nuit, ce sont les étoiles qui nous ont accompagnés à travers le dôme. Les filles étaient émerveillées et moi aussi ! Lieu vivant qui m’a reconnecté à mon être intérieur et m’a fait revivre des moments de ma vie passée de manière inattendue. Sincère gratitude pour votre accueil en ce lieu. Quelle chance avons nous eu de vous trouver !

The place is so nice especially with nature lovers, secure and we have a privacy. Angus is approachable, quick to response with our messages. We really enjoyed staying in Angus place. We were thankful for extra bonus the 5 free range eggs.
