Take advantage of gastronomy/cultural offers on excursions to Burgundy/Jura or on a market stroll in Louhans. A rich breakfast is included in the price. For the dinner that can be booked in addition, we will send you a menu card.

Located in a valley between pastures, forests and rivers, it is close to the lakes and waterfalls that make the reputation of "Little Jurassic Scotland". In winter, the gîte becomes an ideal base to enjoy this cross-country skiing paradise. The nearby resorts offer a range of activities for all ages and all levels.

The little corner of Paradise welcomes you for a quiet and serene vacation in the heart of nature in the Haut-Jura Nature Park. Our region offers a charming landscape every season. Come and explore the trails between lakes, waterfalls, belvederes on foot or by mountain bike, some of which start from the gîte. Beautiful cross-country ski trails nearby through the Jura forest, as well as several family alpine ski resorts. Beautiful towns/villages to discover.

The 65 m² cottage with wood stove is located 900 m from the center of Chapelle des Bois (altitude 1080 m) where you will find restaurants, a grocery store, organic cheese and sports and liquor stores. This furnished property was built on the foundations of the old gentian distillery where 4 generations succeeded each other to distill gentian brandy. Cross-country ski slopes as well as mountain biking or walking trails are accessible from the cottage.

"Côté Lacs" welcomes you near the Cascades du Hérisson, in a warm and cozy wooden house, in the heart of the lakes region renamed "Little Scotland" to recharge your batteries with family or friends. In the middle of a natural site of 7 mid-mountain lakes, we put this larch and tree framework to discover this little piece of paradise. We marinated and renovated wooden furniture from the family attic to make this interior warm.

You will stay in our renovated and ideally located duplex (close to the Hérisson waterfalls, Lake Bonlieu, Clairvaux-les-Lacs, the 4 lakes (Ilay, Narlay, Petit and Grand Maclu), the Frasnée waterfall, Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux etc). The duplex will allow you to recharge your batteries in a peaceful setting and admire the nature and wildlife that surround our hamlet.
