Geneviève's beautiful apartment was the perfect place for my extended stay. The very central location made walking anywhere in Chartres very easy and it is in a lovely part of town. The place itself is well equipped with everything one would need for an extended stay, including a nicely arranged kitchen and a washing machine. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment and is very comfortable and quiet. The living area is spacious with good lighting and spaces for dining, relaxing, and working. Geneviève was incredibly responsive and kind and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful place and wonderful host!

I absolutely loved the location, the size of the space, the charming decorations, the GARDEN, and the wonderful bed and linens. I felt like I was staying in a friend's extra bedroom. As a solo female traveler you will feel extremely safe. Elisabeth is a lovely hostess and has thought of everything.

Warm welcome and beautiful home! The host is always available and attentive. Our kids, their cousins, and even our dog loved their stay – you can go there without a second thought. We had the opportunity to visit a beautiful farm just 15 km away, and participate in a happy egg hunt in Edmond's garden. A peaceful and refreshing place for young and old. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay of 5 days at Sophia's house which was very clean and comfortable. There were all we needed, the room was very warm regaldress of the cold weather in Nov., the room was well equipped and decolated nicely, and she provided us all the informatin useful including the local stores. There was a surprise of a morning basket containing local bread, pastries and briosh which were delicious ! The village was absolutely pretty with lancscape and river. You can enjoy a nice walk. We really recommend her house and we hope we will have an opportunity to come back in the future.
