What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

Fantastic property and host. First class communication. House was immaculate and in a peaceful location but with great links to Manchester, Preston, Blackburn, Wigan and further afield. If staying in the area again I will definitely check availability here first before booking anything else.

My son and his family stayed at Andrew’s property while they were visiting us from Australia. It is a fabulous property. Clean, comfortable and, with the log burner going, very cosy. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very comfy beds and the little ones loved the bunk beds. Lots of little extras including books, games, logs for the fire and even a BBQ. Ideally situated with shops, cafes and the local market all within walking distance. The railway station is nearby and and the M6 less than 5 minutes drive. Andrew responded to a couple of minor queries almost immediately. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use again.

We had a great stay here! We had to stay as our flat had no electric for a week, but eve was so unbelievably kind and helpful. A great hostess! The flat was beautiful and clean, and had everything you needed for a short stay. Eve was always on hand for if we needed anything, as well as being extremely responsive. Would definitely stay again, and recommend this place for others, and eve as a hostess too!
