“Victoria’s place was a lovely little cottage that was the perfect home base for my husband and I to explore the area. Although we didn’t meet Victoria in person, her communication was excellent. Directions to the home were easy to follow and check in was simple, with a lockbox by the door. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, including a great selection of breakfast foods (eggs, bread, cereal, oatmeal, yoghurt, milk, juice, etc. ) The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots, casseroles and utensils for basic food preparation. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I don’t normally like a soft bed, but this was like sleeping on a cloud! There is also a sofa bed if you have a small child or two. Although it would make the space seem cramped when pulled out. The cottage was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The wifi worked well. There was a TV with basic channels. We would have enjoyed some way to watch a movie, but it was also nice to “unplug” and read while we were in the room. I highly recommend Victoria’s place and would happily return if I’m ever in the area again.”
Dating back to 1624 and immaculately restored this beautiful little one bedroom cottage simply oozes character. With a stylish designer interior and romantic bedroom under historic eaves it has a large and private, dog-friendly, garden. Enjoying panoramic country views it is located in the historic and peaceful village of Tarlton whilst being close to chic Cirencester and Prince Charles’ Tetbury. A perfect romantic retreat to get-away from it all.
“A beautiful, idyllic cottage. The perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The cottage is ideally located to several places of interest and award winning eateries. The garden is absolutely beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. We loved the little touches waiting for us on arrival, the local produce basket, logs and kindling for the open fire and the most stunning roll top Bath. We can’t wait to visit again!”
A new well appointed self contained guest studio set in gardens surrounded by woodland, close to Malmesbury and on the edge of the Cotswolds. A short distance (by car) to local pub with good menu and atmosphere. Private off road parking. No pets
“We had a lovely stay at Veronica’s studio. She was incredibly helpful with tips on where to go and what to do in the Cotswolds. The studio was perfect for chilling out in the evenings on a recliner sofa in front of the telly, and it was great to have a kitchen to cook our own food and save some money. The shower was great and we had a really comfy bed to sleep in too. Veronica also kindly left us biscuits, coffee and milk. Thank you for a wonderful stay Veronica! All the best, from Sophie and Sam”
