“Such a gorgeous Air BnB! June and her husband welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showing us to the room and telling us about the amenities. June left us a lovely breakfast and was very helpful with her advice of how to get around the local area and to Chester. The room was spacious with a TV, small kitchen area, storage and bathroom. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend to a lovely town (we recommend the farm shop cafe) or as a great place out of Chester for a quieter stay. We'll definitely be back as the hospitality was incredible, thank you June!”
Less than 1 km from the town centre and 2.5 km from Theatr Clwyd and close to beautiful countryside. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac.
“Highlyrecommend staying with David. He has great recommendations for Mold, and is a very culture person with great chat. The house is very homely, room was lovely, breakfast was splendid - recommend.mend the beans option with chilli sauce. Would stay again without a doubt.”
This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.
“We had a fantastic short stay as a family of 4. The cottage is located off the road so it is peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk to a pub and to drive to all the local attractions. The extra touches and welcome gift were very much appreciated and the host went out of her way to offer advice or help if we needed it. The only thing we missed was a freezer compartment to freeze our ice packs for picnics, but the host froze them for our journey home. I would definitely recommend the cottage.”
