Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

On the ground floor, you will find a hallway, a laundry room, a bathroom, a TV lounge with a sofa bed and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room. On the first floor, there is a large kitchen and a living room with a dining area and a TV area, as well as a master bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom. Large terrace with several seating areas, jacuzzi, fire pit and great views. Perfect for families or friends who want a comfortable stay close to the sea and nature.

Experience the idyllic Sørlandet and create memories for life in this cosy, unique place. The house has a great view, a well-equipped outdoor area and access to a jetty. You will have access to the entire main floor. The main floor, on the 2nd floor, contains a living room, kitchen, hallway, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a small toilet. The house is very cosy and overlooks the beautiful village of Rasvåg and the sea. There is a very well-equipped outdoor area with several terraces and gardens, as well as fruit trees behind the house. There is a trampoline and a monkey bar.

With southern idyll and great nature on all sides, it is a perfect place for relaxation and excursions. Fenced garden towards the lake and road, so small children can play freely. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

The cabin is modern with high quality in all materials, and design furniture. The cabin is built for family use, but is rented out in anticipation of our children using it. The cabin is located in a cultural-historical area from the sailing ship and privateer era. There are good hiking opportunities nearby, proximity to amazing sandy beaches.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. The traditional Longhouse has found new form and function in an impressive modern architecture which makes this place a unique retreat nature loving families, and groups. Right outside there is a sauna with a magic view.

The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, take a step back and relax in our luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Velkommen til vår sjarmerende og hyggelige sjøhytte – perfekt for ferie med familie eller venner! Hytta ligger direkte ved sjøen og har flott utsikt og nærhet til naturen. Den har 2 små soverom og stor hems med lav takhøyde. Totalt er det 8 sengeplasser. Hytta har fullt utstyrt kjøkken, bad med dusj, koselig stue og solrike uteplasser med griller. Båtutleie i nærheten, kan fortøyes ved bryggen. Vi vurderer alle forespørsler manuelt – fortell gjerne litt om hvem dere er.

Hervoll is known for its cultural landscape, old grindstone mills and as a starting point for hiking in nature. Tenants must thoroughly clean the house themselves before departure.
