Rólegt umhverfi og fallegt útsýni. Húsið er gamalt og er staðsett á bóndabænum Vattarnesi. Kindur eiga það til að koma inná tún. Í húsinu er baðherbergi með sturtu. Eldhúsi þar sem gestir geta eldað. Það eru þrjú svefnherbergi, tvö með tvíbreiðu rúmi og eitt með tveimur einbreiðum rúmum. Tvö herbergi eru á annarri hæð og er stiginn frekar brattur. Við erum ekki á hringveginum. Húsið er á gamla hringveginum á milli Fáskrúðsfjarðar og Reyðarfjarðar, 19km frá Fáskrúðsfirði og 29km frá Reyðarfirði.

A rustic and homely house on a remote sheep farm

Our farm is the easternmost habitat place on Iceland and extremely remote. We are surrounded by mountains and the ocean, and there are many hiking options. We have a lighthouse here along with a small weather station. Our little farm gets closed off from the world during the winter months, so it's the perfect opportunity for those that seek a break from just about everything. You probably couldn't imagine a more peaceful and quiet place, where you are also welcomed to join us in any activities.

Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. This beautiful homey house is a sanctuary while you enjoy the wonders of Hornafjörður. We call it Fagranes or Beauty point and the garden is a true beauty. We encourage our guests to explore the garden, smell the flowers and and find the berries when in season. The garden is beautiful during every season. Our house is perfect for families.

A welcoming top-floor apartment, located in the center of town on the famous Rainbow Street. The house has over a century of history and features a calm and cozy interior with everything you need for a comfortable stay in the prettiest town in East Iceland. You can’t be better placed: within walking distance you’ll find restaurants, pubs, a supermarket, boutiques, swimming pool, golf course, kayak rental, and various hiking paths in our stunning fjordside landscape.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Around the place is a great wild-bird life over the summertime and here you can take a walk in the nature and enjoy some alone-time. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a furnished terrace with BBQ. Egilsstadir town center is just 30 km away.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Honeymoon Cabin with Hot tub and treasure hunt

Our Honeymoon cottage is the perfect place for those who seek a genuine Icelandic experience with a private hot tub overlooking the fiord. The cabin is just a couple of minute drive from Seydisfyordur. You might even spot some whales while having a bbq. Don’t miss to hike and visit Vestdalur waterfalls that is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is provided with dvds, books and vintage video games.
