Location: The house is located in Bringsli which is 8.3 km further into the valley from Straumsnes which is the center of Valnesfjord. There are, among other things, a grocery store and eateries. It takes 40 minutes to drive to Bodø, 40 minutes to Saltstraumen and 20 minutes to Fauske.

Good with bolting space for children, with amazing climbing trees and several natural playgrounds. There is electricity and summer water, urinal and incineration toilet. Drinking water is brought, but we will make sure there are several gallons available upon arrival. However, please note that there is no shower here. Parking a short walk from the cabin.

Great cabin in relaxing surroundings with stunning views of the fjords and mountains. Nice hiking trails right from the cabin door, and with 5-20 min by car you will find both sandy beach, fantastic ski slopes and a diversity of mountain peaks in magnificent nature. There are very good sun conditions on the property, and with little light pollution in the area, there are high chances to see northern lights in winter. From the parking lot AT Rv80 it is about 900 m to walk along the footpath and forest road in small nature terrain.

Fantastisk turområde både sommer og vinter. Fiske, bærplukking, sopp-sanking, lokalmat. 10 min til Valnesfjord, med matbutikk, kafe osv. 20 min til Fauske. 35 min til Bodø. The apartment has a king size bed and a 120 cm bed. There can be a baby bed if needed. Setså is located in the middle of the villages of Fauske and Rognan, and 6.8 miles from Bodø, and 6.3 miles from Saltstraumen. Setså is a natural starting point to see the sights of Salten and all its history, hence the Blood Road Museum, the War Cemetery in Botn, exit to the former mining community of Sulitjelma, or just a few nights of peace and quiet before heading on to the next destination.

The mountain lodge "Sletn" is located in Sjunkhatten National Park and gives you a unique opportunity to feel the silence, relax or explore the fishing lakes and mountain areas around you, summer and winter. It's a little bit of a walk, but it's worth the 25-45 minute walk.
