House holiday rentals in Fayette County

Place was as described. Check in was easy. Sherry gave some great recommendations for food in the area. This was for a guys golf and river rafting trip and was a good place for us.

Erin's home was perfect for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. The location, within walking distance to downtown Fayetteville was perfect. There were stores and restaurants nearby and the entrance to the National Park was a short 5 minute drive. The home was exactly as described and shown in photos, with all the amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the amount of space, pool and hot tub as well as the fully fenced in backyard because we were travelling with our dog. As a host Erin was incredibly responsive, provided helpful information about the house and area. We could not recommend her house enough, it was fantastic for our needs and trip and hope to stay again in the future.

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

Meeting up with family for thanksgiving. Everything we needed to cook a feast was there. It’s a great place plan to return

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

We all had a great time. We loved the pool and it was great to have after hiking and on the afternoon it rained. The house was a great size for all nine of us! We loved it!

Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

Rachel’s place was just perfect for our stay. We raced at Ace Adventure Resort, which was just 10 mins away. We were close to so many local restaurants and grocery stores, with easy access to recreation. The house is beautiful and well thought out. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were squeaky clean. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was perfect during our stay in Oak Hill! Jessica is an excellent host - she has a true gift for hospitality! This Airbnb is definitely the gold standard, by far my favorite stay. The place matches the pictures, the details are wonderful, and Jessica has the place perfectly stocked. This Airbnb had everything you'd need & more. It was convenient to the highway, and only a short drive to the National Park. We enjoyed hiking and exploring the park, and took Jessica's suggestions for dinner. Highly recommend this stay to others!

We had a wonderful stay at Colleen’s place. With six of us, the house offered plenty of space to accommodate everyone comfortably. The kitchen was very well organized, and Colleen was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The porch and grounds provided lots of outdoor space to relax, and with easy access to Kaymoor, we would have been able to spend the entire weekend climbing without needing to use our car. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Perfect place for my family (2 adults and 4 kids 12 and under) to use as a home base for our visit to New River Gorge. Definitely had plenty of room to spare for additional guests if necessary.

Kevin was very responsive and helpful leading up to and throughout the stay. The home was a nice little gem in Oak Hill and offered nice spaces to hang with a group of people both inside and outside. Would definitely stay here again when we're back in the area!

We had a wonderful stay. It was a great location for exploring New River Gorge NP. The house was comfortable and clean. Robert was a super responsive host, and very friendly. There were lots of little extras in the house that were very appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a real gem. In a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful Appalachian view of WV mountains. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were some games and we were able to use the WiFi and technology with no problem. We couldn’t use the patio. And picnic table and outdoor grill because of the weather but it would have been awesome. The large table states 8 and there is seating in the living room for 8-9. Very good value!

The place is nice and clean. Host is very easy to work with. Location is great for exploring the New River Gorge and surrounding area. We were able to have few fires with some wood that was provided. House had everything we needed. As others have pointed out, the only minor thing is that it is a lot closer to the road than it appears in the photos and can be pretty noisy if you are sensitive to that, specifically in the main bedroom. They had a fan we turned on and had no trouble sleeping either of the two nights we stayed, so ended up not being an issue for us at all. Would definitely consider staying again if we came back to the area.

Definitely caming back I love the place so peaceful

Second time we stayed here. We love it and will definitely will be coming back. Debbie’s home is wonderful and checks all the boxes. Clean, spacious, stocked with everything you need from cooking to forgetting shampoo. You can tell she takes pride in hosting and it shows! From the treat basket to the treats for the pups. Very quick response on the messaging app also. All in all I would recommend 100 times over and will always be our 1st pick! 10/10 will be booking again.

We traveled to the area to explore New River Gorge. Easy access to the park. Traveled with my elderly parents and the accessibility features were perfect. Easy to get them in and out with their walkers. Relaxing space and quiet street. It was perfect for us! My Dad mentioned they were the most responsive hosts we have ever had at an airbnb.

Loved this home! So comfy and cute, with touches of family history that we loved. Perfect area to explore Fayetteville too, with the best restaurants in walking distance. Megan was very helpful and communicative. Would recommend to anyone!

Kitchen well supplied -- an Easter feast, no problem! Wished for an ironing board for the Easter outfit but no one, including me, noticed wrinkles. Loved playing pingpong and horseshoes in the giant backyard and close to *so* many great hikes. Wished for more area rugs to stretch on post hike but get that dog friendly and rugs don't always go together. Loved being across the road from houses with an airstrip behind them. Really fun hanging on the front porch and seeing a little plane take off. Recommend!

This is an old farm house with lots of character. We rented the house to be close to the race start for Cabin Fever 50k. The house was so much bigger than we expected which was nice. The location was also nice, not far from town and quiet.

This was a beautiful well stocked house My family spent three nights at Jessies house and we had a wonderful time Checkin was a breeze All questions answered quickly by the host We woukd definitely stay here again 5 out of 5 for sure
